Charles: william, leonor did you read the newspaper this morning?

William: no, not yet why are you asking us dad?

Charles: fortunately, it's  better for you to stay away from the media and newspapers today

I: why? what's wrong?

Charles: my personal staff just delivered today's newspaper to me, i was speechless

William: instead of beating around the bush, tell us what it's about dad

Charles: it's about your mother 

I: what do you mean? what does my mother have to do with it?

Charles: It's hard for me to say, since you are now like a daughter to me, leonor

William: come on dad,  spill the tea 

Charles: in short, this morning an article came out in all the newspapers about your mother, this article states that your mother had an affair with your uncle

I: what? 

Charles: there are rumors that your mother was in a relationship with your aunt telma's ex-husband, this thing started to be rumored after the publication of the book ''letizia ed io'', then a tweet fueled these rumors of your uncle who posted a vote in the mirror of your pregnant mother, so people are making a lot of theories.....

William: they think that one of you and your sister is not your father's biological daughter

I: this is impossible, even if my mother sent a photo of herself with a baby bump, it doesn't mean that my sister or me are not my father's biological daughters

William: It would help to know what year it was

Charles: nothing is known about the year, but your uncle claims that their story began before your mother met your father, when she was still a journalist, then one evening your uncle had bought the ring to propose to her but your mother she told him that she had met a diplomat who would change her life and so she ended things with your uncle, but they didn't stop staying in contact and according to him they even thought they were running away with you and your sister

I: how long would their relationship last?

Charles: according to him they met in 2000, then in 2002 he proposed to her but she had already met your father, they remained friends from 2000 until 2014, then they moved away

I: i can't believe something like this came out, especially right before our wedding

William: hey don't say that baby, we'll find a solution

I: i can't imagine how my parents are doing but especially my mother

William: what's gonna happen now dad?

Charles: nothing will change, you will continue to carry on as always, you have to show calm in public, tomorrow leonor you will go with my mother to choose the wedding dress, okay?

I: okay

William: is everything ok?

I: yeah i'm fine 

William: i know you, i know that everything is not okay

I: so why did you ask me if you already knew the answer?

William: to tell you that you can vent to me, i know that my father's words did not reassure you

I: yes you are right, what if i called her? to be ready for what might happen

William: yes good idea, do you want me to stay with you?

I: yes please will

I: hey mom, i read the article, before talking about this i wanted to ask you how are you?

Letizia: i'm so sorry that news like this came out a few days before your wedding

I: don't worry about this, william and i will find a solution

Letizia: i really hope you find it

I: mom, i need to know the truth, is what the article says true?

Letizia: there is some truth, but you and your sister are your father's daughters if that's what you're asking me

I: mom if you don't tell me the whole story, i can't help you

Letizia: the part that jaime and i were together before i met your father is true, then we remained friends even after marriage and he became a close friend of your father too, then when i was pregnant with you he told me he loved me but i told him it was best to break off any kind of relationship, then he married your aunt and after two years they divorced, and he made up everything else

I: so he did it for the money? did he send an entire country into crisis, a monarchy but above all our family just for money?

Letizia: exacly, he has never been a supporter of the monarchy but i didn't know he would do something like that

I: how's dad? 

Letizia: now he's talking to the lawyers to see what we can do
