❝Hmm! Mhm!❞
YOU AND MK KEPT your eyes on the girl who claimed herself to be the Lady Bone Demon. The amount of ominous power coming from her was enough to make the atmosphere intense. You could tell that she wasn't going to be easy to deal with.
Suddenly, Mei and the others jumped high in the air to join the battle, "A girl? Let's get her!" She exclaimed as she summoned her dragon. You hummed loudly to stop her just as Mk warned them, "No! Wait!" He yelled with worry, but Lady Bone used her powers to force them to be pinned against the dronecopter, "No!" Mk added, sweat rolling down his face when he felt the demon's energy behind him and you.
"You have done well, Mk. Mastered so many powers. It seems you're ready to meet your destiny and-..."
"Yeah yeah! Destiny Shemestiny. You saw how fast the kid dismantled you little Bone toy, right?" Pigsy interrupted her in a dismissive way.
The Lady Bone Demon got upset and pushed him back with an invisible force until his upper body was buried in the dronecopter, "That was part of the plan. I do apologize for what comes next." With that being said, she summoned an even bigger Mech to fight you and Mk. Your brother grabbed your hand and jumped back, "That's not good." Mk stated while pulling his staff out. The mech then used its tail to attack, but you two jumped away. You saw Lady Bone in the core of the Mech and moved to break it in order to deliver a direct attack.
Suddenly, the hand of the Mech grabbed you and started to squeeze the hell out of you. You let out a muffled scream and that alerted Mk, "Y/N! Let go of my sister!" He exclaimed before pulling out some of his hair and blowing into them, creating clones of himself, "Alright, Mks!" Just like that, they all moved to strike the Mech. However, the clones all exploded and a blue circle appeared.
Suddenly, Tang shouted at your brother, "Mk! The more power you use, the more-..."
"Powerful I become. That's observant." She finished as the Mech grabbed Mk and pinned him down. Mk groaned and started to use his powers, "Think little! Think little! Think little!" He spoke to himself, his body glowing gold. Lady Bone laughed, "Aww, trying to shrink? That's not going to work anymore." She pointed out, squeezing him more. Suddenly, pink flames engulfed the hand that held Mk, making the hand let go of him. When he looked up, he saw you standing there in your Demon form, your hand dripping with blood.
"Thanks, Y/N." He mumbled before grabbing his staff and slammed it on the ground to activate his Monkey Mech, "Here comes Monkie Kid!" Just as he exclaimed this, the Mech approach to fight Lady Bone. However, even your final hope was useless. Blue light appeared from the Bone Mech before it disappeared to an improved Bone Mech. It quickly grabbed the Monkey Mech and tightened its grip until it broke, leaving Mk exposed.
"Hmm!" You exclaimed and leaped high up to protect your brother. However and just as you landed beside him, he extended his staff as his last attempt to defend himself. Lady Bone stopped the staff and it suddenly became heavy for Mk to hold. You noticed that she was showing you her true appearance.
"What? No? I can't lift the staff!" As Mk exclaimed, you moved to help him. Nevertheless, Lady Bone stopped you by throwing sharp pieces of ice at you, stabbing you in different spots. It went as far as to cut off one of your arms. You fell down, blood pooling beneath you, "Now, I can't let you interfere with the little chat I have with him. Although, you could be of a good use to me in the future." She stated firmly, looking down at you with an evil smirk. Mk watched in horror as you bled out and struggled to stand, "Y/N! Please stop, don't do this." Mk yelled, his hands along with the staff where stuck in the ice.
"Do not lament your fate, child. You can rest knowing that you saved your purpose. Destiny has found you and this Demon girl."
Mk was slowly being consumed by the ice. Suddenly, there was golden light before Wukong appeared in front of Mk all beaten up yet he was able to free your brother, "Monkey King? You really here?" He asked, still not believing that Wukong was here. Mk quickly shifted his gaze to you and rushed to your side, "Y/N, quickly shrink yourself and try to heal slowly." You nodded your head slowly and shrunk to toddler's size. Mk held you in his arms securely and protectively. Before either of you could react, Wukong grabbed Mk with you and jumped off the Mech, landing right at his flying cloud.
Mk held you tightly with one arm while he used the other to hold into Monkey King. Your brother looked down at you, seeing you slightly struggling to heal yourself. For some reason, regenerating your body took longer than expected. It seemed that Lady Bone's powers had effected your healing ability. It was a slow process, but you were surely healing, "Hang in there, Y/N. You're going to be okay." He mumbled to you in assurance, hoping that you will be fine so soon. You opened one eye and nodded your head before using your remaining hand to give him a thumb up.
Suddenly, the cloud started to disappear little by little. Thankfully, Wukong made it to the dronecopter in time. When you landed there, your friends rushed to your side, "Mk! Y/N!" Mei exclaimed as Sandy support Mk who was still holding you. Tang gasped when he saw your condition, "What happened to Y/N? She is so injured and sh-she lost an arm!" He exclaimed in shock while pointing at your missing arm.
Mk sighed as he sat up straight, "She's going to be okay. Mei, please take her inside to rest." He said with low voice, handing you to Mei. She did as she was told and took you inside to let you rest for a bit. Mei looked at you with pained expression as her eyes traveled all over your injuries, "I hope you will be alright." She mumbled before running to grab the first aid-kit to bandage you up.
Now, the real battle will begin with a powerful enemy to fight.
