Seeing Double

A/N: This idea randomly came to me when I was watching all American so here we are lmfao

Liam looked between the twins, "I'm not stupid I can tell which one of you is my boyfriend," he said with a laugh before taking Asher's hand and pulling him close.

"Worth a try," Theo muttered before walking towards the kitchen. He still held a grudge over Asher for taking his crush, not that he figured he had much of a chance with Liam anyways.

But still, that's against twin code. Or any code for that matter, you don't steal someone else's crush. Asher knew that Theo had the biggest crush on Liam, he had always vented to Asher about it.

Considering Asher prided himself on being born two minutes faster, he took that 'older' brother role seriously and had always given Theo advice. But when he convinced Theo to just ask Liam out, he took it upon himself to demonstrate.

Of course, Asher didn't think Liam would have agreed and now months later the pair were dating. Theo resented him for it, he didn't even like Liam. Not the way that Theo did, Asher was just stringing him along until he left for college.

"Are we still going to the movies tonight?" Liam asked, hopeful blue eyes meeting Asher's green ones. The older boy winced, and almost immediately did Liam's face morph into disappointment.

"Sorry babe I told the boys-"

"It's okay," Liam said cutting him off, usually prepared for their plans to fall through. "I did already get the tickets though," he added.

"Maybe Theo can go with you?" Asher suggested, turning to see Theo cutting an avocado, "little bro, take Liam to the movies for me?"

Theo frowned, "he's not a pet," Theo spat. But did he really want to pass up this opportunity? "But sure, if you're cool with that?"

Liam nodded, "I mean you both look the same so it's not like anyone will think anything else," he shrugged.

"What movie?"

"It's a horror movie, I specifically booked it because someone loves horror movies and I do not," he said with a hint of annoyance in his tone as he flashed Asher a glare.

"I said I'm sorry just chill out," Asher said rolling his eyes, "I got to go anyways, I'll see you tonight." He pecked Liam's cheek and slithered his arm around the younger boy's waist before turning to his brother, "take care of him yeah?"

"Sure," Theo replied, knowing how their last date has gone. Asher and Liam went out to a pub and Liam got hit on by a sleazy old man, as you can imagine it didn't end well for the man. Asher dragged him outside and they got into a fight, it seemed to leave Liam shaken up.

"Sorry about him," Liam said looking down, "he's just moody with finals and everything happening."

Theo nodded, "trust me I know, he's got a stick up his ass or something."

Liam laughed, covering his mouth before his eyes met Theo's. "You guys really don't look that similar once you get to know you both."

"We're twins, that's actually not possible."

"It is," Liam said, "you have straighter teeth then Asher, your eyes are a deeper shade of green and you have a freckle on your cheekbone."

Theo paused, "I didn't think you took so much notice in my appearance, I'm flattered."

Liam rolled his eyes, "don't make it weird."

Theo snickered, "what times the movie? Maybe we can get pizza beforehand, I know you like vegetarian."
