A/N: this is the final chapter! Sorry it took so long I've been busy working <3

Several months had passed and it felt like forever ago that Liam was laying in Asher's arms only to be now in Theo's. It felt different, not weird. Just different. He meant what he said months ago though, Theo and Asher really didn't look that alike, not to him.

He saw the differences in their features, he saw what made them unique. He could tell them apart despite them being twins, he knew who was who. Theo was his safe space and his comfort; Theo was his person.

It hadn't been easy, undoing all the damage Asher had done. But Theo had made It his goal in helping Liam, he needed to make sure Liam knew he could do things without being screamed at. He didn't like seeing Liam so anxious, so broken.

Their Asher problems had fizzled away, not on purpose. Asher had gotten himself arrested, the idiot had gotten drunk and picked a fight. Unfortunately, the guy he had hit was epileptic, one wrong punch to the temple and the man went down. Weeks in ICU and almost losing his life, Asher was charged and arrested.

On the bright side, Theo had graduated which meant he was going off to college. Liam still had a year left in school, which made him anxious to be alone. But he knew he still had Hayden and Nolan since they were in his year. He had gotten quite close to them in recent months, they had become his friends too.

He was appreciative of them, he valued their friendship. Hayden always knew how to brighten a room, make everyone laugh and keep the boys in check. Meanwhile, Nolan was a bit blunter and quieter, but he still was funny once he warmed up to someone.

Nolan was seeing a guy now, it did limit their time hanging out but Nolan had promised he would bring the guy around eventually. Apparently, he was nervous, but Liam still looked forward to meeting this 'Alec' guys that Nolan was obsessed with.

Theo was excited for college; he knew his grades were high enough that he could be accepted into most of his picks. But he didn't want to be far from Liam, he couldn't do that. "I don't want to leave you..."

Liam nodded, taking Theo's hand and rubbing it gently. "You're not leaving me, you'll visit me on breaks and I can get lifts and visit you. I don't want you to hold back on the college you want to go to because of me."

Theo looked down, "I just got you," he sighed. He didn't want to lose the one thing he had fought so hard to have, he finally had Liam. "I don't want you to feel so alone," he caressed Liam's cheek.

"I'll be okay," Liam tried to reassure him, "I have Nolan and Hayden and who knows, I might even get along with Alec," he smiled. "I want you to go to the college of your dreams baby, don't stay here for me."

"I don't want to be too far," Theo replied, which was an indication that the college he wanted to attend would be further than they both would have liked. But Liam was stubborn, he wasn't about to let Theo risk his future for him.

"You're going," Liam stated, "you'll go and have fun, I will facetime you and we can meet halfway or something." He shrugged, his faint smile still present as he met Theo's emerald eyes, "I want you to go."

"I wish you could come with me," Theo sighed, "but it's four hours away..." A light bulb went off in Liam's head, "what?" Theo asked upon seeing the wheels ticking inside of Liam's head.

"I could transfer?" Liam suggested, "I mean if you really don't want to be apart... my parents have money so that's not an issue. If I told them my grades are good enough to transfer, they would let me do it."

"You would do that?"

"For us? Yes," Liam smiled, "plus, I don't have the best memories or any friends at that school anyways. I don't care that much about lacrosse, maybe I could join another sports team?"

Theo felt his eyes swelling as he leapt forward, wrapping Liam in his arms. "You're a little genius," he smiled. Liam melted into the touch, feeling warm and safe in Theo's arms.

"I love you," Liam smiled, a faint blush painting his cheeks as he turned his face. "So so much," he brushed his nose over Theo's, "I can't wait to start this new chapter together."

"Same," Theo smiled, pressing their lips together before parting. "We can do this, together." He took Liam's hand and pressed a kiss to it, "I love you more than anything, don't ever doubt that."

Liam never would. He knew that their love was pure, it was real and it was comforting. He was safe, he was loved and he was cherished. They would be okay and they would work through anything, together.
