Felix stood outside the famous city library, scanning the area for any sign of the car that was supposed to pick him up.
James had instructed him to wait here, as the person whose portrait was to be painted would send a car.
Checking his watch, Felix noted that it was already past the time James had mentioned for the car's arrival.
Growing impatient, Felix reached for his phone to call James when he noticed a vintage car pulling up in front of him.
Not immediately realizing it was for him, Felix took a step back. The driver rolled down the window and called out, "Are you Mr. Felix Everhart?"
Felix, a bit surprised, nodded and replied, "Yes, I am. I suppose you've been sent to pick me up?"
The driver smiled warmly, bowing his head in apology as he stepped out to help with Felix's luggage. He explained that he had been delayed due to rain and traffic.
Confused, Felix looked up at the sky, which was clear and devoid of any sign of rain.
He asked the driver how it had been raining when the weather seemed fine.
The driver chuckled and explained that he had driven from a different city, where the weather had been quite different.
Realization dawned on Felix. The address James had given him was for a location in a different city. It all made sense now.
With a smile, Felix thanked the driver for the explanation and the assistance with his luggage.
The driver opened the door for Felix, who graciously accepted and settled into the comfortable seat.
As the driver navigated through the city streets, Felix couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation.
When the driver looked at Felix through the rearview mirror, he suggested that he should take a nap since the journey was quite long.
Accepting the suggestion, Felix made himself comfortable and soon fell into a deep slumber.

After three hours, Felix was awakened by a gentle voice calling out to him.
Opening his eyes, he saw that the car was still moving, and the driver was speaking to him.
"Mr. Everhart, sorry to wake you up, but I don't want you to miss this beautiful scenery," the driver said.
Felix, still groggy from sleep, without thinking, looked outside the window. To his surprise, they were driving through a forest, and it was raining.
The raindrops created a soothing melody as they hit the car's roof, and the lush greenery of the forest was mesmerizing.
