Felix stood in front of the door to Aurelia's room, taking a deep breath to compose himself.

He knew he had to maintain a professional demeanor, despite Aurelia's demanding nature.

With a bright smile, he knocked on the door, and after a moment, he heard a muffled "come in."

Entering the room, Felix saw Aurelia seated on the bed, much like the day before, with the curtains drawn and the room dimly lit.

Moving towards her, Felix greeted her with a cheerful "Good afternoon, miss."

However, Aurelia's response was far from welcoming. She immediately scolded him for being late, questioning his professionalism.

Disheartened, Felix apologized, promising not to be late again and quickly moved to the task at hand.

Aurelia then made an unexpected request, asking Felix to fetch her something to eat from the kitchen.

Feeling a bit impatient, Felix left the room, encountering the maid outside. He explained the situation, and the maid hurried off to fetch the food.

After a few minutes, the maid returned with a tray of tea and macarons. Felix took the tray and returned to Aurelia's room, where he found her standing near the mirror.

Clearing his throat, Felix approached her, and Aurelia instructed him to pour tea into her cup. Without a word, Felix followed her instructions, pouring the tea carefully.

He then proceeded to serve her the macarons, silently fulfilling her requests as she continued to give orders.

Despite the challenging situation, Felix remained composed, determined to complete his task professionally.

After serving her tea and macarons, Felix stood quietly, waiting for further instructions.

Aurelia, lost in her thoughts, seemed to have forgotten about him for a moment. Taking the opportunity, Felix decided to speak up.

"Miss Hawthorne, I understand that you have certain expectations, and I assure you, I am committed to fulfilling them. However, I would appreciate it if we could establish clearer communication and mutual respect in our interactions. It is important for both of us to work together harmoniously to create a masterpiece that we can both be proud of."

Aurelia, surprised by Felix's assertiveness, turned to look at him.

There was a moment of silence as she seemed to contemplate his words. Finally, she nodded slightly and said, "Very well, Mr. Everhart. I will try to be more considerate of your time and efforts then."

With that, Felix felt a sense of relief. Perhaps their working relationship could improve from this point forward. He resumed his painting.
