Emperor's clumsy prince || Kookjin

Chapter 7

Jungkook finished all his work and visit then came back to the palace. It was already night. He was tired and wanted to have a shower first. He directly went to his room. He opened the door and went for his bed chamber.

There his concubine sitting with a plate of apple slices, cheeks puffed up with the portion in his mouth chewing on them. He didn't have any idea of anything. He was more focused on his food. While Dahyun was messaging his shoulder.

None of them seemed not to notice his presence in the room. He cleared his throat and stepped on loudly. Dahyun was quick to turn around and bow respectfully. "Your majesty."

But Jin was still obvious to the emperor's entry in the room. He was looking outside the window thinking something deeply. He came back to earth by Dahyun pulling his arm. He looked at her and that's when he noticed the emperor. He eyes were presenting a feeling of scared covered with a slight glare.

Dahyun again signaled him and he bowed his head. He didn't raised his head in order to not looking at the emperor. His apples were already forgotten.

Jungkook didn't said to him anything. He turned his eyes to Dahyun. "Tell someone to prepare my dinner." And he moved to the bathroom.

Dahyun again bowed to Jin. " Your highness." Jin looked at her confused. " Where are you going noona?" Jin asked with sad eyes.
"Your highness. Majesty is already here. And he has gone to shower. It'll be inappropriate to me being here while you his concubine is already presented." Dahyun tried to make him understand.

"Then let me come with you too. I don't want to stay here." Jin whined at Dahyun who just sighed. "Your highness you can come with me tomorrow morning. It'll not be good for you to walk till now. Can you walk properly now?" Dahyun asked with concerned eyes. She also didn't want to left the prince there in the lion's den.
But who was she to decide and moreover the physician forbade them to do so.

Jin looked down and shook his head slowly. His lips were pouting sadly. When he looked up his eyes were glistening. Dahyun immediately hugged him. Jin nuzzled his face on her shoulder.
"Noona stay here. I don't want to stay here alone with the heartless majesty."

Dahyun held his cheeks with pure endearment and gave a reassuring smile. " He'll not hurt you. Don't worry." Dahyun prayed and hoped that.

Jin nodded his head slowly. "Your highness don't forget to take the herbs after eating. You don't want to be in pain , right?" Jin again nodded.

Dahyun bowed respectfully and went out. Soon a two maid came to the room with food. After bowing to Jin they started to prepare the table. Just when they left the room, the bathroom door opened and revealed the emperor in his thin white robe. Hairs parted with sprinkled water drops.

But all this things didn't mattered to Jin as he turned his head and looked outside the window. The garden outside looking graceful with the moonlight.

Jungkook didn't speak to him at first. He noticed that the foods are already prepared in the dinning room. But Jin was still on the bed.
"Have you taken your dinner?" Jungkook asked taking the seat to eat. Not looking at Seokjin at all.

Jin slowly turned his head towards Jungkook from there. The open door giving him the perfect view of Jungkook. He looked down and shook his head softly under Jungkook's gaze.

"Then come and have your meal." Jungkook said with his usual not so soft but not so stern voice. He teared his gaze to his food as he felt Jin was at unease under his gaze.

Jin pouted and lifted his leg and stepped on the floor with a hiss. He grabbed the bed as his leg was shaking a bit at first. He was still scared of Jungkook and didn't want him to be mad at him. Also he was hungry.
