"Anthony?" I walked to his bunk moving the curtain. Nothing. I walked around the bus but nobody was on it except me. I walked off towards the hotel going to the buffet area. I had an all access pass thanks to the band so I could eat whenever I wanted to. I got some food before sitting down in a booth. He was suppose to meet me after the rest of the guys left. Where was he? I kept eating before someone asked, "Can I sit?" I looked up as a guy about my age asked. "Sure." "I saw you sitting by yourself over here. Thought you might need some company." "Actually she's fine man, she was waiting on me." Anthony appeared next to the table. "Oh, sorry man, didn't know she was yours." "It's cool dude." The guy got up and walked off. Anthony slid in next to me. "What are you doing here?I mean I don't care that you're eating but we were suppose to meet up." "I waited for you on the bus. For a hour. You never showed." "I thought you said the hotel? I been up in my room waiting." "Well, I thought we were meeting on the bus?" "...I'm sorry." "It's okay."
"What are you eating?" "Food I don't need." I had Chinese food piled high on my plate. Anthony went and grabbed a fork and two cokes. He started digging into one side of the plate. "This is good. You made a wise decision. I'm proud of you." I smiled. He dinged his fork to mine, "A toast to Jess for picking out awesome food." I took a drink of my coke before we finished eating.
"Well, now that we weight 800 pounds a piece, what do you wanna do?" "What were we going to do when we were suppose to meet?" "You'll see. You're gonna like it."
