"Rae Salvador will attend Paris Fashion Week." I read the headline of the news on our flatscreen tv.
"Ate share ko lang, I like Chloe Salvador better. Ba't ba kasi yung second name mo ang napili mong screen name?" kunot noo kong tanong kay Ate Chloe.
"I like my second name better, it's elegant kaya." Ate Chloe said as she sip on her coffee.
Nginiwian ko siya at kinagatan ang sandwich ko.
"Mas bagay pa rin talaga yung Chloe."
She laughed. "Naku! It's my life and career kaya it's my choice." kibit balikat niya.
"Tsaka, if ikaw papasok sa showbiz world. I suggest you, use your second name." dagdag pa niya.
Mas lalong kumunot ang noo ko sa kanyang sinabi.
"No! Never!"agad na tanggi ko.
"Rhaine Salvador, tada!" sabi ni ate habang tinataas pa ang kamay niya.
"Ew! Never, hinding hindi ako papasok sa showbiz world ate." napailing-iling kong sabi.
Never have I imagined na papasok ako sa mundong yun. I don't want my life to be featured publicly, it seems like you have no privacy and isa pa you will receive a lot of criticisms and hatreds.
I don't want that, mabilis pa naman ako madiscourage kapag nakakatanggap ng mga pambabash. Mahina ako sa ganyan. I don't know how to take negative comments.
Kaya I really admire ate Chloe for being strong, despite the criticisms at the start of her career she remained stand tall and proved her bashers wrong. Hindi siya nagpapatinag sa mga negatibong komento na binabato sakanya.
Mommy almost plead na tigilan na niya ang showbiz at mamuhay nalang siya ng normal kasama kami, but Ate was so persistent to fulfill her dreams.
She was protecting us also, hindi niya kami pinakilala publicly. Kaya iilan lang rin talaga ang nakakilala sa'kin as Rae Salvador's sister, namumukhaan lang nila ako pero 'di alam ng publiko ang pangalan ko.
Minsan may lumalapit sa'kin pero di ganun kalala na dinudumog talaga ako ng mga tao.
Ate Chloe is protecting us well.
"Mas bagay si Clara sa showbiz ate," biro ko kay Ate. "Magaling umarte yun."
Suminghap si Ate. "Really? I can introduce her with some directors that I know!"
Napangiwi ako sa kanyang sinabi.
"I'm just joking, I don't know if she's interested."
Nanlumo si Ate Chloe sa sinabi ko.
"I'll ask her." I said while reading Blair's text.
Blair:
Nakakaasar talaga! Classmate kami sa lahat ng subject ng impaktong yun!
Napakunot ang aking noo sa nabasa at mabilis na nagtipa ng reply.
Ako:
Anong impakto? Who?
"Ngayon ko lang rin natanto na bagay talaga si Clara sa showbiz!" Ate Chloe said while staring at her phone. "I love her visuals!"
Pinakita niya sa'kin ang isang picture ni Clara nung nag 18th birthday siya. It was her pre-debut shoot.
She was wearing a faerie dress with an artificial elf ears. Bagay na bagay sa kanya ang suot niyang mint green na dress sa malaporselana niyang balat. Para siyang totoong diwata, she really have that beauty that is captivating. Her protruding eyes perfectly harmonized her face with her soft arch eyebrows and cupid bow's lips.
