chapter 1

Aiden woke up, bright and early. Jokes, he woke up 20 minutes before the bus came. He reluctantly dragged himself out of bed with the will of 3 hours of sleep. Aiden slipped on his clothes before he walked downstairs, navigating his way through his house to find Ben before he skipped breakfast and walked next door to Ashlynns house. Aiden texted Ashlynn
'knock knock!'

To which Ashlynn answered the door. It was the middle of the school year, nearing winter. Aiden hated and loved winter, it was..alright? Whenever Ashlynn answered the door, she was still putting her shoes on, once she was done she walked out with Aiden and met up with Ben, all three of them getting on the bus together. The whole time, Aiden ranted about stupid shit, as per usual.

[30 minutes later, at school.]

"'m gonna go to the bathroom see you in like, 10 minutes, carrot top!" Aiden said with a smile before he walked towards the bathroom. Everyone else met with each other in the cafeteria before they walked to their first class together. Meanwhile, Aiden was in the bathroom. He did that every morning, looking at himself for like 10 minutes, randomly.

This time was different though, Aiden didnt show up this time. Naturally, everyone said that he was unwell and that he was taking a break in the bathroom. Which was semi-true.

It wasn't until their teacher called out and said "Tyler, could you go check on Aiden?" To which Tyler angrily agreed after a threat with detention.

Tyler found Aiden, sitting in one of the larger stalls, dead asleep. To which Tyler laughed at, but remember why he was there. Tyler suddenly let out a grumble, making aiden wake up* "ohh, hey..Tyler!" He said with a half smile

Tyler replied with an angry "fuck I'm gonna have to cover for you again, asshole. Try to sleep at home, not on the bathroom floors!" He was naturally, and easily explosive. With his emotions, and a bit with his actions. Tyler walked back to class before he made up the excuse of Aiden throwing up and calling his mom to go home. (His parents hadn't been home in 2 months)

[7 hours later]

After Aiden headed home, it was particularly quiet. But, that was fine, right? Once everyone went home too, they met up at Ashlynns school bus graveyard. A literally graveyard of school buses that came with the house whenever Ashlynns dad bought it.
Aiden was late, seemingly just waking up from a nap. Whenever Aiden walked onto one of the buses, they where already talking about the phantoms. Those stupid fucking phantoms. But Aiden loved them, he loved the thrill of them.

Once Aiden walked on, it got particularly quiet before Tyler spoke out "good morning, fucking sleeping beauty." Tyler rolled his eyes a bit before Aiden spoke with a mock-high pitched voice "you think I'm beautifull~?" Aiden said with a grin to which Tyler almost instantly replied with "no! You fucking walking Expresso!" Tyler had a nickname for everyone, for example, for Ashlynn it was carrot top. for Ben, it was Ben 10. For Logan, it was flower boy. For Aiden it was, electric charger, energy drink, reverse melatonin, bathtub toaster, the list goes on.

Everyone kept arguing, talking, ranting, coming up with ideas until 11:50. Aiden was fast asleep on a beanbag chair, flipped upside down and his legs and arms spread out like a star fish., Logan was reading a book about the titanic, ben was..being ben? And Ashlynn, Tyler, and Taylor where planning about what to do.
