Chapter 9

4am hit and Aidan was awake. Another day without the phantoms, luckily. Aidan realized he was in bed instead of on his chair, where he fell asleep on. A few moments later he realized that Tyler was on the chair instead of him. Tyler must've moved him.

Tyler woke up a few hours later, realizing that Aidan was no longer in bed. He rushed down the stairs, hoping that Aidan wasn't burning down the kitchen. He soon found Aiden and Ashlynn doing..something. It was like a hand stand and a back bend all together in Tyler's mind. Aiden was struggling though, he'd fallen over about three times within the time Tyler had seen them. Finally, Aiden gave up when he face planted.

"Damn it!" Aidan exclaimed with a huff. Aidan was disappointed, but he didn't care once he saw tyler "oh, Tyler! Can you make us some food? We're starving but we don't know how to cook.." Aidan huffed slightly as he scratched the back of his neck and motioned towards the kitchen. Aidan shifted his sleeves a bit, there was big scar on his wrist from skateboarding that had doodles around it. Little dinosaurs panicking because the world's about to end and crack in half type of doodles.

While Tyler cooked Aidan read Reddit stories, showing Ashlynn some of the funny but surprising ones. Aidan and Ashlynn showed each other their matching 0.5 pictures of each other, which Aiden decided to make a big wallpaper out of all of the photos. "I kinda wanna get some more funko pops, my headboard is looking bland lately." Aidan said with a cheeky smile before two plates slid infront of them, filled with food. Aidan cooed and hopped up from his seat, getting up and hugged tyler before he spoke "thanks!"

Within seconds Aidan was done with his food, now munching in a granola bar. "I wanna dye my hair back to blonde," Aidan grumbled. A bit until Tyler spoke "no, your hair is gonna fall out, dumbass." Aiden chucked his granola bar at Tyler, which hit Tyler square in the forehead "the fuck!" Tyler exclaimed before he snickered and threw the granola bar away "your a little shit yknow that? I hope you go bald the next time you dye your hair," Ashlynn just snorted, but the two argued until Ben and Logan walked in. "Is Taylor awake yet?" Ashlynn asked curiously before she got up and walked towards the living room to check.

Ben and Logan sat in a comfortable silence for a little bit before suddenly Aiden screamed "dude! There's literally aliens on the earth right now." Aidan flipped his phone around, revealing that he was watching another one of those "top 10 ghost sightings!" Video on youtube. Tyler just snorted while Ashlynn rolled her eyes and replied with "no there isn't, dimwit.. and besides if we can deal with phantoms we can deal with aliens,"

After breakfast everyone went out to the school bus graveyard again, Ashlynn wrote ideas on the whiteboard while Logan and Tyler worked on weapons, Aidan and Ben listened intensely, considering last time they'd fallen asleep whenever Ashlynn was doing lecture's. Aidan and Ben started to scroll and buy things online that might help. Meanwhile Ashlynn and Taylor went out to go grab lunch for everyone.

During that time the few actually working focused on their stuff until Aidan tapped Tyler and whispered to him "wanna make up an excuse to leave? Ben and Logan keep staring at each other, it looks like they wanna be alone-" Aidan said in a whisper that Ben and Logan could unsurprisingly also hear. Logan suddenly spoke "you're right we just wanna talk about school work..we have math together and we wanna talk about the upcoming test and study for it," Aidan looked over at Logan before he spoke "Ben has all his classes with me though..?? Never mind that, you guys have your fun. Don't make a mess on the bus though! Ben, youre using protection. Ri-" Aidan was cut off by Tyler dragging him out of the bus while mouthing "sorry" to the both of them.

Tyler and Aidan walked out of the school bus and roamed the side walk before Tyler broke the silence "yknow aliens aren't real, right?" Tyler asked Aidan with an eyebrow raised. "What! Nuh uh!" Aliens are totally real, what are you talking about?? The internet literally DOES NOT lie.." Aidan exclaimed with his eyes wide before suddenly the sound of swerving approached.

Aidan looked ahead of him to see a car heading right for Tyler, within seconds Aidan pushed Tyler, watching as Tyler landed on the grass with a thud. Aiden tripped, falling onto the concrete to which the car approached rapidly, Aiden looked over, the blindingly bright headlights making his vision blur until finally..
