Chapter 10

Aidan blinked, seeing as Tyler ran towards him and hugged him. The car wasn't there? He wasn't hurt? Well besides the few cuts and bruises on his hands, yet that was from the fall? Aidan smelled smoke in the air and looked around, seeing the car in a ditch while the drunk driver climbed out.

Tyler cupped Aidens face as he yelled curses at the drunk driver, scolding him harshly "what the fuck is wrong with you?! Get your ass in check, im calling the cops dickwad! Next time dont get so drunk that you almost run over a kid!" Tyler yelled angrily at the unknown man until he turned his gaze towards Aidan. "Are you alright? That was a damn brave thing you did. Sit here, im gonna call the cops real quick, im tired of looking at that guys face to be honest." Tyler said as he wiped dirt from Aidens face.

Tyler called the cops, then the rest of the group. All of them got over there within minutes. Tyler had laid Aiden down on a patch of grass like he was a baby while Aiden complained "it's not like i actually got hit! Im fine!" Aidan exclaimed and Tyler just shot a glare at Aidan making him shut up. Once the police got there they questioned Aidan and Tyler, along with the drunk man that couldnt properly stand. The man had been told that his penalties would like be from 6 months to three years in jail for drunk driving and child endangerment.

Aiden and Tyler were driven to Aidan's house by a police officer that was surprisingly chill and promised to not tell Aidan's parents. Aidan was carried inside by Tyler who set him on the couch, chucking Aidan's phone, tv remote, and a few puzzles at him "im making us dinner, complain and im breaking that 3d Spider-Man puzzle that you made." Tyler wouldnt do that, obviously. But Aidan couldnt notice his sarcasm so he instantly nodded and complied.

Aidan scrolled on his phone for a good while until finally Tyler finished. Tyler brought in some sphagetti, setting it on the coffee table before he sat down next to Aiden "off your phone, we're watching a move." Tyler said as he took Aidens phone and put a plate of sphagetti in Aidans hands.

Aidan and Tyler watched the movie until Tyler felt Aiden's head rest on his shoulder. Aiden was dead asleep. Tyler snorted and set down everything, pausing the movie and moving Aiden so that he was laying down. Tyler draped a blanket over Aiden, turning off the TV and writing a note that said

[you better not use your right ankle too much in the morning, and put ointment on those cuts. Im not gonna be able to go out tomorrow because of basketball practice. And i have a basketball game so you better do what's told. Also, try to come to one of my games. Just you, not one else. Not even Ashlynn or Ben. Im tired of seeing you spend money on everyone else and not yourself so I better see you there. It's at 5pm in our school game. YOU BETTER SHOW UP]

Tyler left a few moments later. Going back home. Aiden was met with Ashlynn and Taylor kissing, to which he quickly closed the door and walked to the spare bedroom. Tyler fell asleep there, waking up at 7am and getting ready for his baseball practice.

Aidan woke up at 10am, reading the note and groaning loudly. Aidan reluctantly put on the ointment and got ready, deciding to wear a pair of jean shorts, a shirt with blue koi fish on it, an blue belt, some blue converse, a white satchel, and some knee-high white socks with blue stripes at the top. Aiden walked to the high school, entering and looking up at the banner above it. When Aidan entered the gym he saw that the gym was full beside the court. Outside of the gym was a few concession stands with drinks and food. Aidens waist was suddenly clutched and pulled closer to someone.
