chapter 2

Midnight.
The timer started. 7 hours.

Aiden woke up with a major headache before he looked around and saw everyone there. The skys where red and dark. Ashlynn but on some noise lessening headphones. So she could hear the phantoms to a certain extent. They'd gotten the jeep, easily. They also had two other backup cars, only Taylor and Aiden could drive. Aiden was rather reckless, but he got the job done. And Taylor was actually good at it, but she also got the job done.

A soft whisper among the few sounded out "what's the plan?" They whispered to each other before Aiden groaned loudly "I'm bored."

They talked for awhile until there was a loud crash. Fuck, a phantom had gotten in. The phantom skittered around the roof before it spotted them, smashing through the buses window. It lunged at Logan before Ben hit it straight in the face, making it stumble. Aiden grabbed a flashlight, which made it melt slightly, but only temporarily until it lunged again, this time, directly at Aiden. It's claws extended as it latched onto Aiden's side. It wasn't until Tyler grabbed it by its nape and shoved it off before he hit it directly in the neck, making it's head fall off. Aiden whined in pain before he started laughing "holy shit that was cool!" To which some smiled and one scowled. Ben helped Aiden up, slowly patching Aiden up and allowing Aiden to rest for a little. Aiden was snickering the whole time though.

Another tumble sounded on the roof, this time it burst directly through the window behind Aiden. Suddenly, Aiden grabbed it by the base of its face, in a blur, the thing was gone. Like literally dead. It's head smashed into a window with some of its limbs hanging out of the window "couldn't have done that, WHEN you where attacked?" Tyler said angrily

"Whatt, I was finally in the mood!" Aiden whined out with a laugh before he got up and laid back down. They ultimately decided to wait out the rest of the 7 hours. They couldn't risk doing much more. "Hey, after this you wanna have a big sleepover at my house? My parents aren't gonna be home in like..4 months, so they wouldn't care. And plus, winter break starts tomorroww~" Aiden grined before everyone answered.

"No." Tyler instantly groaned

"Maybe, I'm not too opposed to it." Ashlyn said

"Yes please! I'll bring the snacks," Taylor grinned happily

Ben didn't reply, all he wrote was, "I live with you, Aiden."

And then Logan finally replied with a quiet, "sure.."

A few hours later everyone was back in the normal world, 7am, on the dot. Everyone ultimately decides to sleep for awhile, leaving Aiden and Tyler on one beanbag, Logan and Ben on another, and Taylor and Ashlyn on another. Ben was spooning Logan, the bear-like boy using his warmth to soothe Logan. And then Aiden was sprawled out, making Tyler get kicked off the beanbag a few times.

When Ashlynn and Taylor woke up, Aiden was wrapped up in a blanket next to Tyler, nuzzled into Tyler's side. Logan and Ben where cuddling, naturally. And Ashlynn and Taylor where taking pictures of the pair.

"They're gonna be mad whenever they wake up." Ashlynn said bluntly before Taylor replied "maybe we can draw something on Aiden's and Tyler's face?" Taylor asked with a smile to which Ashlynn pulled out a dry erase

marker, drawing a mustache of Aiden's face, along with a heart. On Tylers arm it had big bold words that said "Tyler x Aiden!!"

Ben and Logan where next to wake up, both unbothered by their sleeping positions. Logan was a bit flushed but Ben liked it. Meanwhile when Aiden and Tyler woke up they both hopped up and yelled, making Aiden start to laugh and Tyler start to yell. Aiden suddenly rasped something out between his laughs "Tyler! You have a dick drawn on ur face!" Aiden said between hysterical laughs. To which Tyler looked in the mirror and scrubbed it off. The only thing Tyler couldn't get off where the big bold letters. Aiden of course, kept the drawings, saying that "a mustache and goatee looks good on him"
