∆ chapter 6 ∆

Aiden woke up with a cold sweat and a horrible pain on his side, a slight groan coming from him as he shuffled. Aiden slowly got up and looked around for the others, thinking that they'd just went out for a sec he grabs a walkie talkie and speaks into it

"Where is everyone?"

Is all Aiden says before a slight static sounds and someone speaks, it's Taylor

"All of us are out at the gas station, trying to find food, except for Tyler, he insisted on staying there. I'm pretty sure he was worried about you."

Aiden snickered before he spoke into the microphone

"Seriously? Snitching on your brother? Anyways. Uh, he's not here,"

Aiden says before suddenly something grabs his waist Aiden whips around, ready to smack someone, just to find Tyler. Aiden yells slightly before he laughs "Dick wad!" Aiden exclaimed. Tyler just snickered.

"You should lay back down." Tyler said as he motioned towards their makeshift bed in the back. Tyler lowered the curtains that they had on the bus, just so the phantoms couldn't 1. Hear them, and 2. See them.

Whenever Aiden laid back down, Tyler sat next to him, watching over him as he struggled to solve the rubix cube that Aiden had brought along.

A slight shuffle catches Tyler's attention, and Tyler touches his side, his hand right near the gun he has. The bus doors opens revealing Taylor, Ashlynn, Ben, and Logan. Tyler lowers his weapon before he puts a finger up to his mouth and motions towards a sleeping Aiden.

"We should replace his bandages soon, he was whining when he first got up earlier."
Tyler said as he lifts Aiden's shirt, showing them the bloody bandages.

About 30 minutes later whenever Aiden wakes up, Ben and Tyler already has the med kit set up. The sight makes Aiden whine, "awh..why isn't mine healing like logans?!" Aiden exclaimed as he rolled his eyes

Aiden ended up on a spare bus seat, biting down on a towel while Ben and Tyler worked on bandaging and cleaning his wounds. Yeah, it hurt like a major bitch, but he managed to pull through.

"Sorry to ask, but like..can I take another nap after this, please..?" Aiden mumbled out, a slight blush on his face after he'd said that.

"Why are you asking? Of course you can, you've gotten like half your fucking torso mauled by those phantoms, Aiden." Tyler said with a slight grumble as he wrapped the new bandages around Aiden's torso.

Once Tyler was done, he picked Aiden up and carried him over to the make shift bed. once again Aiden was laid down, and eventually covered up once they found the spare blankets. It's gotten a lot colder recently, maybe because it's getting warmer in the real world.

Everyone decided that it'd be a rest day for them, especially after the Aiden incident, and Aiden having to nap like 7 times in the phantom world. Tyler ended up falling asleep, propped up against the bus wall, next to Aiden.

Ashlynn, Taylor, Logan, and Ben ended up playing a board game, Taylor had lost because she was she was the last to solve the equation for the board game, resulting in her screaming angrily and flipping the table.

Her scream woke up both Aiden and Tyler, the two of them jolting slightly before they both reached for one of their hidden weapon. They ended up grabbing each otthers hand instead of the weapon, realizing that they'd moved it earlier because Ashlyn had stepped on it and cut her foot by accident.

A bright blush spread across Tylers face as Aiden just got up out of bed. Aiden walked to the front of the bus and shoved through the other snacks to find his secret box of goldfish

Aiden walked back on with a box of goldfish in hand, casually shoving a handful in his mouth and munching on it loudly while he sat back down.

Aiden and Tyler sat down near everyone else, watching as they cleaned up the spilled goldfish.

A few moments later of casual silence Ashlynn talked in a slightly concerned tone "do you think the phantoms heard that..?" She asked warily to which Aiden and tyler looked back at each other

Logan replied calmly "even if they did, they wouldn't be able to get through because of the lights..and besides if they do, we've already taken precautions." Logan spoke while motioning towards the extra weapons and flashlights.

Suddenly, Taylor but in. "Why is Aiden munching on goldfish right now?" Aiden went to go speak with his mouth full "I'm wash hunghry" he muttered between chews. To which Tyler gagged and covered Aiden's mouth "god, stop talking.." Tyler grumbled

Aiden swallowed the goldfish and then bit Tyler's fingers making Tyler scream like a girl, everyone has like a three minute laughing fit until suddenly a slight shuffle came from outside.
