Martlet sighs as she lies on the couch; anxiously waiting for the exam grades to be posted. She had tried her hardest to study for the semester's finals, but she still felt that it wasn't enough. After refreshing the grades page on her phone for the hundredth time they were finally posted. "Oh thank god, I passed." Martlet had received a B+ on her exam. She finally relaxes as she places her phone back down on the coffee table. From the bedroom, she could hear a loud shout from a very ecstatic cowboy

"YES!" Clover opens the door to the bedroom and peers his head around the entrance to the hallway. "I GOT AN A ON THE EXAM!"

"That's great babe; I got a B+ on mine," she said with a smile.

"Well looks like we don't have to take summer classes."

"Thankfully; I really need a season off from school."

"Me too feathers; Mom said something about all of us going on vacation this summer to celebrate the anniversary of monsters being free."

"Isn't that in May?"

"Yeah, she was thinking of taking everyone to the beaches down in Florida."

"Aren't you afraid of the ocean?" Clover had a good case of thalassophobia; when he and Martlet visited a nearby lake, he refused to go anywhere near the water. Swimming in a pool was fine, although Clover always wore a swim shirt while swimming. Starlo had asked him about it one time, and Clover just shrugged it off saying it was just more comfortable for him, but everyone assumed he was just insecure about his looks.

"Yeah, you won't catch me anywhere near that water so I'm probably just gonna be relaxing on the beach."

"What if I helped you get over it?"

"Not gonna happen."

"We could just get Ed to chuck you in the water," she said with a chuckle.

"Fuck.....no."

"Come on you can't be afraid of just a little bit of water."

"It's a phobia I have Martlet; I can't help it. I don't make fun of your fear of spiders."

"Spiders are scary; I will never visit Muffets Cafe for that reason. She terrifies me."

Clover laughs at her response. "Then don't make fun of my phobias."

Martlet sat up letting Clover sit on the couch. She lays her head back down on Clover's lap allowing him to scratch her head before continuing their conversation about the upcoming trip. "So, if we do go on this vacation with everyone, would we share a room or would Ceroba be upset about us sleeping together?"

"Well she knows we are dating, and we live together; I don't see why we wouldn't share a room."

"Because your mom still treats you like a kid from time to time."

"I'll make sure we share a room babe."

"Thanks, Clover." she sighs as Clover continues to scratch her head.

The two sit and lay there for a while before Martlet sits up and realizes something. "Shit, I forgot to return my books to the library."

"You only get fined if you lose or damage the books; you can return them next semester."

Martlet seems rather nervous at the books being overdue, but the campus was closed until June; making Martlet wait until then to return them. Clover noticed the nervous expression on the bird's face. "Martlet you don't have to be embarrassed about having a book on human biology; you needed it for class."
