Martlet's eyes flutter open, her head lying on the cowboy's chest as he sleeps. A smile forms on her face as she caresses Clover's hair waking him up. "Good morning cowboy; sleep well."

"Yes, babe; did you?"

"I slept amazing thanks to you," Martlet said with a wink.

The room felt cold for the two as they both shivered in each other's arms. "I should probably turn off the air conditioning; it's freezing in here," Clover said getting out of bed.

Martlet let out a flustered giggle as Clover stood out of bed. "You wanna put some pants on first handsome?"

Clover grabbed some pants from his bag and put them on before turning off the air conditioning. Martlet sat up and stretched her wings before trying to get up. "My legs are still wobbly," Martlet said with a chuckle.

"Come on I wasn't that good," Clover said scratching the back of his head

"Are you kidding me, you were fucking amazing last night; I still can't stand properly."

"Well, I hope you can walk straight by the time we get downstairs."

"Yeah I don't want the others to know so don't go bragging about last night to any of your friends, not even Asriel," Martlet said glaring at the cowboy

"I won't I promise, as long as you don't tell Frisk, or Undyne on one of your girl's nights."

Martlet would occasionally hang out with Frisk and Undyne for girls' night. They would occasionally talk about their love lives; Undyne would talk about her and Alphys while Martlet would talk about her and Clover, but Frisk was still single. Frisk didn't have much interest in dating, she was always too busy with ambassador work and school; Toriel was also very strict about dating rules with both Frisk and Asriel.

"Good to know we both agree; can you hand me my clothes please?"

In Starlo and Ceroba's room, Kanako sits on her phone wearing her headphones with a pissed expression.

"Kanako please, I know you miss your father but I can't still be married to a man who's long passed away."

"Dad is probably rolling in his grave seeing you with another man."

Ceroba takes a deep breath trying to keep her cool with the young fox. "Kanako you need to let go."

"You didn't let go of me." The young fox snapped. "You didn't let go of Clover and we both came back."

"That's different Kanako you both were on the verge of death, not completely dead."

"Even after I was given some of Clover's determination to wake me up you still mourned for him."

"Well, Clover didn't drown himself in experiments that ripped our family apart like your father."

The room sat silent as the two stared at each other. Kanako scoffed and put her headphones back on continuing to ignore her mother. Ceroba sighed in defeat as she walked back to her bed and sat down beside Starlo who was scrolling through the TV channels. "So I take it she's still upset?"

"Very; why can't she just understand that Chujin is gone?"

"She seems to be holding onto the idea anyone can cheat death even Chujin."

"She was able to wake up because we were able to extract determination safely from Clover's soul to give to her, but I still don't know how Clover came back; it seemed when the barrier broke all of the underground had passed out; maybe some strange powerful magic woke up the other humans?"
