Clover exits his class carrying his bag. Ever since he and Martlet got together, he had been doing better in his classes, his professors have noticed an improvement, and even his grades have increased. Clover walks down the hall ready to head home until he hears a familiar voice calling to him "CLOVER WAIT UP!" He turned around to see a goat monster running toward him carrying a bunch of textbooks. Asriel went to the same college as him and Martlet, it was one of the only schools in Virginia that allowed monsters to attend.

"Oh hey Az, how was class?"

"Boring as usual, I hate having to take a class in government, I get I'm the son of the king and queen of the underground, but it's so boring."

"I hated government in high school, It was one of the most boring classes."

The two stopped at the top of the stairs and continued talking. Another monster comes running down the hallway." YO CLOVER, AZ." an armless lizard monster comes barreling towards the two, it was Monster Kid, but the two called him MK.

Clover holds his arms out trying to symbolize to him "MK slow down you're gonna run into someone." as he finishes saying that MK trips and rams into Clover throwing him down the stairs, causing him to yell.

Clover continues to fall down the stairs, as he reaches the bottom floor causing the cowboy to scream out in pain "DANM IT MK YOU BROKE MY ARM!"

Asriel and MK look down the stairs with a look of horror on their faces. Asriel pulls out his phone and proceeds to dial 911. "I'll..... call an ambulance."

3:00 PM

Clover walks back into his apartment with a sling on his left arm, Martlet follows right next to him with a worried expression on her face, with Asriel and MK following behind. Martlet helps Clover lie on the couch trying her best to make him comfortable. She turns and glares at the other two with a look of frustration "Now care to explain why my boyfriend's arm is broken."

Asriel points at MK with a fearful look. "MK was being an idiot."

MK grunts as Asriel points at him "Snitch"

Clover leans up to try and speak "Feathers please go easy on them, it was an accident."

"Clover your arm is broken, because your friends thought being reckless was a good idea."

"Come on you can't act like me and you weren't reckless when we were younger"

Martlet sighs sitting on the floor next to him gently putting her wing on his cast. "I know but we never did anything that put us in harm's way, the only way we were reckless was getting in trouble with Undyne back in New Home." A look of sadness grew on her face, she hated seeing Clover get hurt, and this almost sent her over the edge. "The last thing I wanted was for you to get hurt."

"Feathers, I'm ok, I'll be better in no time I promise" He grabs Martlet's wing with his right hand, and caresses it.

"Well, aren't you two cute?"

Asriel, Martlet, and Clover yell in sync "QUIET MK!"

"Well I and MK will get out of your hair, sorry about your arm Clover"

"It's fine just tell him to stop running so damn fast."

Asriel and MK leave the apartment leaving Clover and Martlet alone together. Martlet places her head on the couch sighing. "Are you ok, how bad is it hurting?"

"It hurts like a bitch, but I can handle it."

"What are you gonna do about work? There's no way they're gonna let you work with a broken arm."
