To Kai's luck Cole's seat was right next to his. If was fucking annoying as more people came to talk to Cole about getting his football captaincy just so new. Bullshit. Kai thought and glared at the ravenette the entire time of homeroom. College was really testing him huh. But Kai needed to teach Cole a lesson. He had to make himself known, make sure he knows his place.

He tore a paper from a notebook and crumbled his up tightly and aimed. He looked at the teacher who was busy at his desk and threw the paper. He expected it to hit Cole square in the face but the ravenette ducked to pick up a pen and the paper hit another student. Kai quickly ducked back and pretended to not have interest.

    "Uhm... you dropped this-"

Kai whipped his head in back again and his nose touched with Cole's. Annoyingly their eyes met again. Kai snorted and leaned back. "Weirdo" Kai didn't even hesitate to snap back as Cole set his pen down next to his arm. Kai snatched it back and dropped it inside his bag. Cole didn't say anything else and went back to his seat and resumed a confortable poisition. Kai kept his hand on his cheek and tapped his finger impatiently on the surface as he felt restless. He was getting tried and eagerly waiting for his next lecture to begin so that he could separate from this motherfucker next to him and clear his head.

"Finally" Kai sighed and swiftly got up from his seat. He felt Cole's curious eyes on his back, he almost turned but desided not to get bothered at much since the professor was watching them all leave. He didn't give he noirette another glance and stomped out with a slumped posistion, rubbing his neck with a furrowed bow. As quickly as he walked out he grabbed his phone and unlocked it. He had a few massages from Nya telling him about some errands. Kai declined and was about to stuck the device back in when another notification popped up. It was his instagram; Kai probably had the most followers out of the institue. He scoffed at all the likes from his recent posts. But one of his fyp recomendations caught his eye: Cole- or his account rather. Kai huffed, he closed the app and scrolled back to his home screem but shook his head and went back to Cole's profile and clicked on it.

It wasn't much; some pictures of his vacations abroad, pictures of him at the beach, some of his friends from his old school with him posing ridiculously and shirtless...-
Kai shook his head and glared at his phone like it had insulted his mother, his teeth gittering. Maybe he did feel a bit of jealousy about Cole- No, he hated him. Every inch of him hated the new guy, why? Because his first word was to flirt with him. Was he Gay? no way. He had a decent social life and damn he has friends, in, like, five seconds right after stepping into school. Kai's blood boiled just thinking about everything. He stomped his foot out of his anger, getting a few looks from passing students. Kai rolled his eyes and ignored them. He clenched his grip on one of the straps on his shoulder of his bag and walked to his next class, his other hand clenching his phone so tight he was rather sure the screen would crack soon enough- not that it was a problem anyway, he can just buy other one later.

Lunch was Kai's freedom, he usually went to play football in the grounds with Alex and some friends but today his head wasn't clear enough today. He just decided to eat in the cafeteria. He grabbed an apple from a student without them noticing and spotted Lloyd and Nya sitting across from eachother on the otherside of the cafeteria. He goarned as he had to go through all the other students to get there. He sighed as he had no other choice; he debated on texting Lloyd to at least spot him but just decided to suprise them a bit since he almost never ate with them at school- or at home either.

Almost halfway there Kai bumped into someone, hard. He barely avoided falling as he grabbed that guy's shirt to get back up, meeting his eyes. Kai gasped, everyone else collectively following sooner than later. "Sorry uhm.. Kai was it?" Cole said with a snarky grin. Kai went rigid but he snapped out of it and shoved Cole back. The ravnette hit a table and the student's sitting on it got up quickly and got out of the way. Cole looked a bit shocked, Kai glared right at him, but inside he was suprised with his actions- which rarely happened. "What's the fucking deal??" Cole got to his feet and clenched his fists besides Kai. Kai almost wanted to back down, Cole looked a bit intimidating, pissed. Of course, why wouldn't he; with almost the entire school watching them.

He paused as Cole's eyes widened and the boy looked away. Kai raised an eyebrow but still stood his ground, "Face me!" He shouted and took a step forward. Cole snapped back, making Kai's heart jerk-

Kai shook his head and his pervious expression returned, angry. But Cole took a step back and out of the way, "what am I doing?" He muttered to himself but Kai heard it. He raised an eyebrow, "what the hell man?"

Cole shook his head with a short apology and got the heck out of there, not even giving Kai a second glance. The crowd dispersed quickly enough as everyone rushed to finish their food before the end.
"Wow. Just, wow" Nya had her hands on her hips as she walked up to Kai. The girl looked rather puzzled but was hiding it behind an annoyed expression.

"Not now please" Kai raised his hands up with a dramatic roll of his eyes, his sockets getting sore from going a lot of the-rolling-of-the-eyeballs. Nya scoffed and grabbed his wrist and bacically dragged in back to the table. "Congrats, first fight of the term... Absolutely amazing" Lloyd said sarcastically. Kai blew a casual whistle and took a seat next to him; taking a bite of his apple. Lloyd noticed and gave him a look, Kai shrugged it off and ignored him, getting a face palm from the blonde. "Care to explain, that was so out of nowhere" Nya crossed her arms. Kai scoffed a got up, "I told you; that asshole is bad news, I don't like him one bit"
"There's something you aren't telling me-"
"Oh yeah? I also feel like you are keeping something from me" Kai snapped, already getting a headache.

Nya paused and looked away, making eye contact with Lloyd. Kai raised an eyebrow and grabbed his bag again, "Whatever you two. I'm going to class" He growled and walked away, running a hand through his hair.

As he reached the room, he paused and took back his hand back from the door and held his other wrist, fiddling with his watch. His mind rushing past the events of Cole; how he had acted for a split second there. How his expression had changed after their eyes met yet again. Kai brushed his hand over his eyes to dismiss it and grabbed the doorknob to let himself in. He shooked his head, hearing Nya's words again, feeling as if he was indeed kept in the dark about something, he hated that, secrets and all that bullshit. At least he should consentrate on the few classes he didn't have Cole on.
