Kai was shoved against a locker as his bag was thrown beside him. "Hey! Personal space!" He snapped as he rubbed the back of his head. The taller boy chuckled and grabbed him by the collar- taking his feet off the ground, "Or what? You're going to go crying to mommy and daddy?"

Kai reddened and looked away, running a hand through his hair, "At least they come to my events" He smirked behind his gaze. The bully went red like a tomato at the comment and punched the brunette, throwing him back on his feet. Kai gasped as the wind was knocked out from his chest. "What was that for *byeongsin??!"

The bully grinned and grabbed Kai from the floor, "Had enough?" he said, amused. Kai felt blood on his nose- probably a nosebleed. "I'm not giving up that easy" He tried to kick the taller boy but he dodged it easily. Kai frowned as he couldn't believe he had missed. He squeezed his eyes shut as the bully pulled another punch, this is really going to hurt. He braced for a visit with a dislocated jaw as his life flashed before him. But as he waited the punch never came. He slowly opened his eyes to see another, taller boy was holding the bully by his shirt- his face covered by his raven hair. The bully dropped Kai- the brunette unironically landing on his butt. He rubbed his stinging ass as he got on his feet- his gaze in awe at his unlikely savior.

"How about you leave him alone from now on, hm?" The boy said, his tone surprisingly nice. He smiled and let go of the bully. "Oh yeah? As if," He threw a punch, the ravenette stuck his hands in his pockets and stepped to the side as if it was easy. Kai tried to grab the bully and hold him back but he didn't need to as the other boy kicked him between his legs- the unfortunate one let out an awkward squeal and collapsed on his knees, "Ow-" his voice cracked. "Thank you for understanding" The boy smiled and patted the other on the head, "Bye" He walked away without another word, leaving Kai holding his hand against his bleeding nose. "Hey, big guy! Wait for me!" He grabbed his bag off the floor and raced after him. He caught up, a little out of breath. "T- thanks for that..., It wasn't as if I needed your help but, " Kai paused as he finally got a good look that his savior's face- almost immediately noticing his unnatural eyes. They were a striking shade of amber with greener undertones- prettiest eyes Kai has ever seen.

The ravenette had already slipped on a pair of ear pods one as he studded to the beat. Kai scowled- realizing that the boy hadn't heard him. He jumped in front of him to get his attention. The boy stopped abruptly, his eyes widened with sight surprise. Kai could've stared at them for hours but he shook himself out of it, "Hey! Yeah, I'm talking to you" Kai crossed his arms as he went red, "T- thanks for helping me out back there. I had it under control by the way, I- if you were wondering I mean-" The boy chuckled which made Kai realize that he was just rambling, making him blush deeper of making a fool of himself. "You're welcome" He gave him a thumbs up. "I-I...-" Kai tried to make his words, "You're bleeding," He tried to touch Kai's nose but the brunette slapped his hand away, "ah, ah, ah, hands off" He shook his head. "Can I take you to the nurse at least?" He asked. "Fine if you insist" He said pridefully. On their way there the boy handed him a tissue where Kai broke off a piece and stuck it up his nose. to stop the bleeding temporarily.

"So what's your deal here? " Kai said after an awkward silence. "Oh, I thought having a school experience might be interesting" the boy answered with a cheeky grin- clearly teasing Kai. The boy reddened, "Yeah, yeah, that's what everyone says! Anyways- middle school sucks"

"I can't disagree" the boy laughed, Kai grinned as he snuck his hands in his pockets. After the nurse gave him a lecture about him getting into fights- Kai was rather tried of it now- he was dismissed with an icepack for his sore cheek and a fresh tissue blocking his nose. "How did you learn to fight like that?"
