They were tied by blood through Lord Charles Andrew Howard Senior and one of his two younger sons, Lord Richard Edward Howard Senior and Lord Edwin William Howard.

Lord Richard Edward Howard The Second is the grandson of Lord Charles Andrew Howard SR, and Lord David William Beck is the great-grandson of Lord Charles Andrew Howard SR and through Lord Charles Andrew Howard SR, they are first cousins to each other.

Lord David William Beck is second cousin to Lord Richard Edward Howard The Third, and second cousin to Lord Richard William Carey, Duke of Bedford Territory through their paternal great-great-grandfather, Lord Frederick William Howard.

Lord Richard Edward Howard The Second and Lord David William Beck are married to one of the three young women who arrives on Star-Base 12, Lady Susan Virginia Bell and Lady Katherine Grace Kelly and with them their children are second cousins, through Lord Frederick William Howard, and through his second son, Lord Charles Andrew Howard SR.

Their children are third cousins to Lord Richard William Carey, Duke of Bedford on Star Base 12.

The two cousins decide to celebrate Beltane together in The Earldom of Essex at Chartley Estate and Manor in The Earldom of Essex Territory where the courtyard is spacious, with plush green lawn, and beautiful flower gardens.
