Sunghoon: "Ah, hello."

Jake chuckled softly before replying, his eyes filled with amusement. "What are you pondering so deeply?" he asked, his voice carrying a playfulness that echoed throughout the café.

Sunghoon, slightly startled by Jake's sudden question, looked up to meet his gaze. For a brief moment, he had lost himself in thought, but quickly regained his composure, offering a polite smile. "Oh, it's nothing. How can I help you with your order?"

Jake: "I'll have a vanilla latte, please."

Sunghoon: "Of course, coming right up."

With a nod of acknowledgment, Sunghoon turned away from the counter and began crafting Jake's drink. As he worked with practiced efficiency, the aroma of freshly ground beans and the steam-kissed cream filled the air. After a few moments, Sunghoon finished preparing the latte and called out to Jake.

"Here you are"

Jake turned back towards Sunghoon with a mischievous glimmer in his eyes. "Hey, Hoon," he said, his voice laced with a casual charm. "One more thing."

Sunghoon glanced up from the cash register, eyebrows raised in anticipation of Jake's request. "Yes?" he responded with a curious smile.

Jake took a step forward, his gaze locked onto Sunghoon's. "Give me your number," he said, his tone confident yet teasing.

Sunghoon's eyes widened at Jake's unexpected request, taken aback by the suddenness of it. "Oh...I...uh..." he stammered, his surprise evident in his voice.

Jake cut in with a chuckle, leaning closer to Sunghoon and lowering his voice slightly. "Why?"

Well, you sit next to me in class, and it just makes sense to stay in touch," he explained with a nonchalance that somehow exuded both confidence and innocence. "Is that weird?"

Sunghoon fumbled through his pockets, pulling out his phone and quickly typing his number into the contacts list. He handed it over to Jake, a mix of anticipation and nervousness clear on his face. As Jake took the phone and their fingers brushed against each other, causing a jolt of electricity to run up Sunghoon's arm.

As he watched Jake's smile brighten upon receiving his number, a mixture of curiosity and excitement flooded through Sunghoon.

Jake: "I'll be coming here often then." he said with a wink.

His voice got interupted by someone calling him from the entrance of the coffee shop. Both Jake and Sunghoon looks towards entrance.
It was Sunoo. He was looking at Jake impatiently.

Sunoo: "How long will you take! Hurry up!"

Sunghoon's pov

"They are already this close?? Gosh, it's just been one day. I should be bonding with him more, not this stupid Sunoo. He have to annoy me in some way."

He rolls his eyes.

Jay was watching the scene unfold from afar, and his smug expression betrayed his amusement. Once Jake had finally taken his leave, Jay made his way over to Sunghoon, a Cheshire cat-like smile adorning his face.

"What was that?" he murmured, his voice laced with mischief. Sunghoon turned his attention towards Jay, defensiveness in his eyes.
