Jake's pov.

Jake, who had been going through the motions of another day at school, was completely unaware that Sunghoon would be returning today. He walked into the school grounds, his heart heavy with the weight of the past month spent without Sunghoon.

"Why can't I stop thinking about you?"

As he made his way to the classroom, he tried not to let his thoughts consume him.

Just then, Sunoo approached him with his usual cheerful demeanor.

Sunoo: "Morning, Jake!"

Jake tries to put on a smile.

Jake: "Hey, Sunoo.. Good morning."

As they entered the classroom, a hush fell over the room, and everyone's eyes turned toward the door. Suddenly, a gasp echoed through the room as all eyes fell on the tall figure that entered.

Sunghoon's presence commanded attention and respect. In that moment, Jake's heart skipped a beat.

For a brief moment, time seemed to stand still, and Jake couldn't help but stare at the familiar figure.

The realization hit him like a wave. Sunghoon was back. His heart raced as a mixture of emotions surged through him.

Is he really seeing Sunghoon now??

Meanwhile, Sunghoon, fully aware of his surroundings, took a subtle glance around the room, catching the shock and disbelief written on everyone's faces.

Sunghoon's gaze lingered on Jake for a moment, locking eyes with him before swiftly turning away.

Sunghoon's face remains neutral as he has strong vibe now...Defenetly not like before.

Jake noticed the change in Sunghoon's demeanor. The once shy and anxious boy now exuded a sense of confidence that was almost intimidating. He  seemed more composed and composed than ever before.

He walked silently and took a seat in his usual seat, beside Jake. Jake watched him, his heart beating faster with each step Sunghoon took. Just being seated beside each other sent a flood of emotions through Jake's body, making his heart flutter and stomach churn with a mix of excitement and
nervousness. He's almost overwhelmed and don't know what to say, do, react.

But before Jake could say anything, Sunghoon pulled out his earphones and put one in his ears, not even glancing in Jake's direction.

(Ouch) Jake felt a twinge of hurt and disappointment.

Jake's pov.

"Really?..Can't even let me greet you now.."

Meanwhile, Sunoo, who was seated a few seats away, couldn't help but watch the interaction between Jake and Sunghoon. He was amused by Sunghoon's return. His eyes darted between the two boys, a mischievous smirk playing on his lips. He could practically feel the tension between them, and it entertained him immensely.

As class begun, the teacher's voice echoed throughout the room.

Jake felt like punch in the gut, a confirmation that Sunghoon didn't want anything to do with him. He couldn't focus on class.

As the class went on, Jake found his gaze straying towards Sunghoon more and more often. He couldn't help but wonder what was going through Sunghoon's mind and why he was acting so cold towards him. The questions weighed heavily on his heart, but he couldn't bring himself to confront Sunghoon about it.
