Immediately as I enter my parents house I get a strong smell of my childhood mixed with the smell of my mom's food. There's a strong yet a nice welcoming scent of the most basic but also greatest dish on this earth. lasagna! Just what I needed.
As I take my shoes off and put my bags down in front of me I hear familiar footsteps approaching me in the entryway.
"Marc my sweet angel! Finally you're home again! I've missed you so, so much... Well, we all have."
I see my mom peeking into the entry hall of the house. She made her way toward me but someone else got to me first.
My dog Carlo almost tackled me into the wall when he saw me. He is a small, white, Shih Tzu so I doubt any damage would've been done but he still caught me off guard. I got Carlo quite a long time ago so he is an old dog by now but his energy sure hasn't changed. I'm surprised he even seems to remember me.
Seeing Carlo again almost helps me take my mind off a certain someone... stop right there... I need to focus on my family instead of some "cheap whore" as Angela would refer to her.
"he is almost more excited to see you then I am." My mom lets out the sweetest "mom laugh".

My mom has dark hair like me except hers is naturally dark and I had to dye mine black to achieve the "cool rockstar look". It sounds hella corny but whatever, if the fans like it then I'm all for it. But I've always been told that you can see our resemblance by looking in our eyes. We both have bright blue eyes and some would even call them ocean eyes.

As a look around my childhood home all my memories start flowing back to me. It all reminds me of my school years (probably the best years of my life). Me and my friends would always go out to a park near the city to drink some beers knowing that half of them lied about liking it but wanted to seem cool so they did it anyway. Afterwards we would all come back to my place since my mom worked late... back then we would be smoking cigarettes or joints to have fun not knowing how severely addicted we all got later in life. It's kinda funny.

This is also where I met Silvia for the first time. Shit this is gonna be way harder than I thought.

I look around more and suddenly I see a sweet face poking out through the entrance of a door.

"Olivia..?" I asked tilting my head slightly to try and get a better look.
When she looks up at me her face starts shining with joy.
"MARC!" She yelled running into my arms so fast I was scared we both would fall over.
"My sweet girl I've missed you so much," I say, taking her into my embrace.
"Girl? Pfttt. With how long you've been gone I'm practically a woman by now." Olivia says pulling away from my arms so she can cross her own making sure I feel all of her sassiness. Me and mom look at each other first before both turning to give her a raised eyebrow look.

Olivia is my younger sister who I sadly haven't seen much since our band blew up. She looks a lot like her mom according to me, since she has the same hair and face except she has more greenish eyes then me and moms. If you ask mom she would say that she looks like her dad but that would be hard for both me and Olivia to know since none of us have seen him before...

"There will still be a while till dinner is ready but Olivia how about you show Marc the guest room and let him pack out." Mom says as she settle down in the coach.

"Of course mom!" Olivia agrees with the same big smile she has always had as she takes my hand to lead me to the room.

As we approach the room I realize that what is the guest room now used to be my room. I can't say I'm sad about it especially because it's not like I live here anymore so there's no need for me to think too much about it.

My sister left me alone in the room for now so I started using my time on getting all my things unpacked. Luckily I'm a pretty simple person so when I don't go out to shows I'm usually just wearing a black T-shirt with some type of band I enjoy on and pants that always gotta look over the top, so I only brought a few shirts and pants hoping I can get time to wash them throughout the week.

I lay down on the bed after packing out and now that there's no distractions anymore. All my feelings start to overwhelm me. It feels like a never ending cycle of both pain from the love I had for that's now broken but also of the horrible feeling of being replaced and not good enough.

I decided to go through Sylvia's story on instagram once again. I find myself staring at her a little too long. I shift my focus to the guy kissing her. He has brown hair in a mullet type style. In the photo he is wearing green cargo pants and a plain black t-shirt, showing off his arms. He looks pretty strong if I had to assume from his arm muscles. He has a whole sleeve tattoo a lot bigger than mine... no wonder she would go for a guy like him. I can't deny that he's a handsome man...

At this very moment I've decided it's time for a smoke break. So I make my way back to the front door informing my mom quickly that I'm going out to smoke knowing she is not very fond of it, which is fair.

I pull up a cigarette from my pocket and light it. That was very much needed. I don't even get a second to inhale the smoke before I get a FaceTime call from Angela... I wonder why she's calling but proceeded to pick up the phone.

"Listen Kobi and I just got the best idea!" Is the first thing I hear her say as I pick up. Not even a hello?

"Nuh uh don't make it sound like I was a part of it." I hear Kobi complain in the back.

"Angela for some reason I don't really trust your ideas that much anymore." I sigh, inhaling a bit more smoke off my cigarette.

"What!" Why don't you trust me!" Angela complains.

"Well last time you said 'I have the best idea' it ended up with me waking up tied to a ceiling in one of our fans' hotel rooms!" I said as I was getting annoyed just thinking about it (I was stuck there for 2 days).

"Ohhhh right...." Well this one is better!" She sounded overly excited for this to be any good.

"Okay okay what is it then?" I can't help but let out a slight smile.

"Well I looked at different clubs around town and I saw one that is supposed to be super lowkey! Super underground! So we should go get some drinks and hope that none of our fans find us!"

As I heard the idea my immediate thought was "fuck no!" But thinking about it, I feel like it might actually be a fun little distraction. I go silent for a little while before telling her that it actually sounds nice.

"FOR REAL!" Angela yells loud enough for an entire neighborhood to hear.

"You actually agreed to that idea..?" Kobi says silently in the back.

"Yeah totally but let's talk details later a gotta go eat with my family"

"Byeeeee!!!" All of us echoed.
