As I shut the door I turned around feeling Lucas's eyes already on me, his smile was wide as usual. He was just standing there looking like he belonged in my room among the old bed, dirty band tees and my guitar on the floor. He fit quite perfectly into the chaos that's my room at my moms house. It was surprising to me how at ease he looked, he wasn't even trying to hide it.
"So," Lucas said, his voice filled with that well known, over the top confidence of his. Are you gonna give me the full rockstar experience today or are we sticking with the spidey movies." Lucas' eyes were shifting between me, the guitar and the tv screen.
I rolled my eyes but I couldn't help the smirk forming on my lips. "If you're lucky but only if you're lucky then you might get a chance to touch my sacred guitar."
"Oh I would be more than honored." He said, as he dramatically took his hand to his chest. "Although I'm not sure I'm ready to be trusted with that kind of responsibility."
"Well you better start preparing then." I replied as I grabbed the tv remote and flopped into my bed. "I don't just give out those types of privileges to anyone you know."
Lucas chuckled and made his way to the bed so he could lay down next to me, his leg resting against mine. It send shocks through my entire body when I felt his body so close to mine.
"What can I do to earn such privileges then?" Lucas turned to me and asked while I struggled to ignore how anxious I felt with him right next to me.
I gave him a judging glance trying to ignore him but his flirty confidence kept wearing off on me. "Well for starters, you should keep quiet during the movie. You can't just be disturbing the spiderman movies." I rolled my eyes at him which was mostly an excuse to not look him directly in his eyes knowing it would make me fold.
"Fine, fine," Lucas held his hands in the air to show his defense. "But talking is not needed to perform the upside down kiss from the movie."
My heart skipped a beat, maybe even two. I quickly switched my attention to the tv, acting like I was desperately struggling to find the movie. "You wish."
"I know you do." Lucas quickly shot back and when I looked at him it revealed to me an annoyingly large smile that's driving me insane. I couldn't help but laugh while I clicked play and started the movie.
We got settled and I could feel his body heat extremely close to mine. It was weird how amazingly comfortable it felt just laying down with him next to me while watching a movie I've watched at least a million times before.
We made it through about half an hour of the movie when Lucas turned to me and nudged me with his shoulder. "You know," he said in a low voice talking to me like he was about to tell me some deep dark secret. "I've been thinking."
"Oh no," I teased. "That sounds dangerous."
"Very." He said smiling but that smile slowly softened as well as the rest of his facial features. "It's just... I really like this, Marc. Being here with you. Feels right? You know?"
I paused, forgetting that the movie was even playing in the first place and looked at him. He was being fully genuine. By now I can recognise whenever he is. I wasn't used to this. Having someone so open about their feelings, someone who had the guts to say straight up how they feel or what they want. It made my chest tighten but in a good way.
"I like it too," I admitted, my voice being way softer than I intended. "A lot."
His grin returned but there was something different in his smile now. Something softer. "You're really cute when you're honest. You know that?"
I rolled my eyes again but this time my face was burning hot. "Shut up Lucas!"
"What?" He asked and I could see his confidence faltering a little bit as he leaned closer. His voice dropped into a whispering tone. "Does it make you nervous when I say that kind of stuff? About you being cute and all?"
I swallowed hard trying to keep my cool but I was certain that he could see right through me. "Maybe a little."
Lucas's smile softened even more as he reached out, ruffling my hair softly enough for it to almost feel nice. "Good," he whispered. "Because it makes me nervous when you're being all cute around me."
I didn't know what to say to that, so I just leaned in, closing the distance between us, feeling my heart practically beating out of my chest as our lips met. The kiss was slow, gentle, and it felt like something was finally falling into place.
When we pulled back, Lucas was staring at me like he couldn't believe what just happened, and I couldn't help but smile at him. "You know, if you keep doing stuff like that," I said, trying to sound as calm as possible. "I might have to let you touch the guitar after all."
Lucas laughed, that confidence of his returning as he leaned in to kiss me again, and for once, I didn't mind how easily he got under my skin. "I'm starting to doubt that we're talking about the guitar."

I woke up to phone calls, at least six of them while Lucas's leg was laying on top of my body. My mom had let him sleep here yesterday since it got pretty late before we finished the movies for some "not so child friendly" reasons
I didn't wanna wake him by moving but when my phone rang again I decided to take it. These past few days everyone has been calling me every single morning and to be honest Lucas sleeping half way on top of me seemed like a great excuse to not get up.
"DO YOU REALIZE WHAT TIME IT IS." It was my manager Sophia yelling at me at 7:30 am. What is my life?
"Huh." was all I could say, not even being close enough to awake for me to brother with her.
"If you're not ready in 5 minutes then you're gonna be in some serious fucking trouble." She hung up. Be ready in five? What is she even talking- FUCK.
I had completely forgotten about the event today. I struggled trying to get up, waking Lucas in the process.
Lucas rubbed his eyes slightly. He had a way of managing to make it look cute as shit. "What's going on?" He sat up and asked, voice was raspy and whispered.
I struggled to say anything. I kind of just stood there a little taken aback by how hot he looked and sounded. He wasn't wearing a shirt which didn't make any of this easier. I snapped out of it and continued getting ready as I explained to Lucas about the event thing and he helped me get ready in time.
As we walked to the front door I had already opened it and walked out when Lucas quickly grabbed my arm. I gave him a confused look.
He licked his lips and gave me a fake annoyed look "I'm not letting you go without a proper goodbye." Before he even finished his sentence he collided his lips with mine. It wasn't just a small kiss. It was passionate, making it so much harder for me to pull away.
"Take care." He said as he pulled away probably knowing I wouldn't be able to pull away first.
