~the ghost of you-my chemical romance~

I still find him sometimes in the oddest of places,in the smell of old books,in the fading ink, in the way the light flickers everyday at 10:03

In the dead of night, when the world is asleep,
A student wanders, her eyes heavy with sleep.
Her mind consumed by books and endless deadlines,
Searching for solace in forgotten finds.

In the heart of the city, an antique shop stands,
Filled with relics from distant lands.
Among the dusty shelves and creaking doors,
Lurks a ghost, unseen, who forever roams.

The student, with dark circles under her eyes,
Finds solace in the ghost's silent sighs.
She listens to his whispers from the past,
His secrets, his sorrows, his love that lasts.

As the days turn to weeks, and the weeks to months,
The student and the ghost share silent hunts.
Through the labyrinth of memories they roam,
Finding solace in each other's unknown.

But as the student's sleep deprivation grows,
The ghost fades, his presence starting to show.
She pleads with him to stay, to never leave,
But he whispers softly, it's time to grieve.

With a heavy heart, she watches him fade,
Into the mist, where his soul is swayed.
But in her dreams, he lingers still,
A ghostly presence, a love unfulfilled.

And so the sleep-deprived student weeps,
For the ghost in the antique shop she keeps.
A love that transcends time and space,
A bittersweet memory she can never erase.
