Meeting the parents

***Taylor's pov***

It has been a week since Travis surprised my in LA at one of my shows sadly he could only be there for the one night but we made the most of it. Today we are in KC and the only person who knows where I am is Tree, my family think I am in LA as no one knows about me and Travis yet. It is the middle of the day and me and Travis are sat in his living room cuddling up together while watching some random shit on the TV in all honesty I am not really watching it as I keep nearly falling asleep, all of the shows are finally catching up to me I think and considering it's Trav's only day off he is also tired.

My phone start to ring out of no where, I can't even think who it could be as it won't be anything work related unless it was an emergency and I don't see why my family would be contacting me. Anyway I peel myself up off the couch and walk over to my phone where I see a FaceTime call from my mum. I have to pick up or she will be worried but I am in a different house so I just have to hope she doesn't notice as I haven't spoken to Trav about tell her yet as much as I want to.

Taylor: Hey mum, everything okay
Andrea: Hey darling, where are you, that doesn't look like anywhere I know
Taylor: I'm at a friends house for a few days
Andrea: Ahh okay, can I say hi
Taylor: Umm sure just give me a second mum

I walked back over to where Travis was and I put myself on mute so I could talk to him

Taylor: Babe, my mum is on the phone and I told her I was at a friends house as she realised I wasn't at home, am I okay to introduce to two of you but introduce you as my boyfriend
Travis: Of course it is baby

I unmuted the call and sat down where I was only a few moments before

Taylor: Mum, this is Travis my boyfriend
Andrea: Your what, omg Taylor I am so happy for you, I am glad you listened to Tree for once and decided to reach out. Travis is lovely to meet you, I'm Andrea.
Travis: Hi Ms Swift, I am glad that she reached out to me as well
Andrea: First of all call me Andrea, I hope you are taking care of her over there, I thought she was happier than normal, this is all making sense now, while I will leave you both to the rest of your day and hopefully Travis we can meet in person at some point. Tay darling I will talk to you in a few days. I love you
Taylor: I love you too Mum, I will talk to you in a few days

With that I end the phone call and I look over at Travis who has the biggest smile on his face and all I want to do is hide my face into his chest, I am so overwhelmed with happiness in this very moment that all I want to do is shout how happy I am from the roof tops for everyone to hear.

Travis: Tay, are you okay you look really zoned out
Taylor: Yeh I am amazing, I am so happy and I don't know how to express all my feeling, everything deals so surreal that all I want to do is tell everyone that we are together. I want to share this with people.
Travis: Omg baby girl, I feel the same. I don't know what I have ever deserved to be able to be sat here with you, you are perfect in every aspect and I want to also tell everyone. Why don't we call all of our family up and tell them together
Taylor: I love that idea

So that is what we did one but one Travis and I called up/FaceTimes all of our family members and our closest friends all of whose reactions where similar saying they were happy for us both and that they thought we would end up together after the friendship bracelet.
