The relationship between a husband and wife is a very different relationship. The husband, watching his mother cater to the whims of his father, expects the same of his wife. The wife, watching her mother cater to the whims of her father, wants equality and respect. She will cater to the needs of her father and brother but with her husband, she will fight for an equal position.
