I can't be your friend, you know I love you and yet, you still want me through the pain of 'just friends'.
I can't be friends with you. I can't be just friends with you, not after I got a taste of what it would be like to get to have a close with you.
I cannot be your friend. Not when my belly flips when you step into a room,
not when my heart skips a beat when you speak,
not when you effortlessly float around my mind every damn night,
not when you sat, I stare,
not when you smile, I blush,
not when you turn back, I let my smile out.
not when your blinks, is what would I miss,
not when your voice and winks catches my attention, you catches my breath.
"Let me admire you and I promise I'll never bother you."
Let me just fall for you, even though your falling for someone else
Let me do it on you, and I promise, this won't bother you.
"So, no, I can't be just friends with you. When I had this secret I kept hiding for a long time now."
Because that would be tortuous.
Having you so close,
and yet not close enough.
So no, we can never be just friends,
because in the first place, I chose not to.
"I just treat you like a stranger I'm falling for."
This story is cliche a left behind and stuck in this unrequitted love.
