After I kicked Stacy and Makia out of the house, put the kids back to sleep and 141 left, Simon and I got into bed.

"I missed you." He muttered half asleep.

"I missed you too, love."

He held me close as he slept, but all I could think about was what I saw in the sex trafficking ring.

They packed woman and men of all ages together. All the screaming and crying. The begging. The beatings.

I pulled Simon's arms off and sat up.

I felt my eyes tearing up.

I couldn't help it.

I covered my face and cried silently.

I should probably get off the bed, I'm shaking it.

"Babe?"

I wiped my eye and tried to calm down.

"Go to sleep, hun."

"What's wrong, why are you crying?"

The lights turned on and Simon pulled me close.

"It's nothing...I was just... thinking."

"About the sex trafficking?"

"What if we can't protect our babies!? What if one day they end up in a similar position? Everyone in there is someone's baby!"

"We won't let that happen, love." He kissed me.

"You don't know that!"

"We love them, the team loves them, even Makia and Stacy love them. Nothing is going to happen to our little family."

He wiped away the tears from my face and kissed my forehead.

"Want a nice warm cup of tea?" He asked.

"No. No I'm good."

I thought of Konig. He's been real quiet these past few years.

"What do you think happened to Konig. Do you think he moved on?"

"Let's not worry about that. You know the kids are gonna be here early in the morning. Let's get some sleep." He pulled me down and held me close as he covered us with the blankets.

I snuggled up to him.

"You turned the security alarms on, right?" I whispered.

"Yes, love. I triple checked."

"Okay." I closed my eyes.

In the morning, the kids woke us up, Simon made breakfast, I got Kiara ready for 1st grade and the twins for kindergarten.

We fed them, got them in the car and Simon drove them to school before heading to work.

I sighed and started on the dishes.

God, my stomach hurts.

I had a flashback to the sex ring and shivered.

"Shit!" I whispered as I dropped a plate and broke it.

I picked up a piece and it slit my hand open.

"Fuck!"

"You alright there, Meine Liebe?"

I gasped and jumped up and looked around.

There was no one.

No Konig.

I groaned as I heard his laughter in my head.

I've been hearing him a lot when I have nothing to do.

When I'm alone, not on a mission or busy with the kids... I hear or see him.

I haven't told anyone yet.

I'm to scared of what could happen.

I washed my hand and swept up the pieces of glass before tossing them out. I bandaged my hand and finished the last three forks in the sink.

I went up stairs and grabbed a pregnancy test.

I just need to make sure....

I sat on the toilet lid and waited a few minutes.

My stomach was in shambles.

Finally I checked.

Negative

I let out a sigh of relief before going on a walk and tossing the test in a neighbors trash can.

A lot of things happened in the ring.

None of them good.

But I don't wanna talk about it.
