YN's POV

Great.

I'm back to square one.

I kicked a rock as I walked.

Who would have thought I'd get stabbed in the back twice in one day.

I walked down a hill.

My phone buzzed and I looked at it.

Steve.

"What?" I answered.

"Any luck?"

"Don't you think I'd sound happier if that were the case?"

"Jesus, the attitude!"

"I'm not in the mood to mess around, Steve."

"Maybe you should just head home. Let Ghost take care of it."

"I rather he hurt me than my family."

"Or you could all work together?"

"Fuck off, Steve."

"Where are you heading next?"

"I don't know. I'm just walking. I'm going to call Roger."

"Okay, good luck."

I hung up and called Roger.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Roger. Any new information?"

"Try the strip club on Ah street. I have surveillance footage of him leaving there. Maybe you can get some information from the workers."

"Thanks." I hung up and kept walking.

Coyotes howled and owls hooted.

I walked and walked and walked until I found a city.

Ah street is around here if I remember correctly....

I looked down at myself and saw my clothes and shoes were filthy.

They won't let me into the club looking like this.

But I don't have a change of clothes.... Maybe I can sneak in the back door.

I found the club and ripped the already loosened bars off a window and crawled in.

Okay.

I think this is the right club anyways.

It looks like I'm in the janitors closet.

I opened the door the music pounded through my ears and lights blinded me.

Shit, it's been a while.

Maybe walking around until I find someone who looks like they have info will do the trick.

I walked around till I found a group of girls smoking outside.

"Oh, cool. You guys look useful." I smiled as I spoke Spanish to them.

"Um, you can't be back here, it's employees only!"

"That's fine. Have you seen this man?"

They glanced at each other before leaning forward to look at the picture in my phone.

"Oh, your husband?" One asked.

"My who?"

"Yeah. He was in here not too long ago showing us pictures of you and your guys kids. He told us lots of stories." She paused and glanced around. "You're not here to fight us, are you? We're just doing our job."

"Yeah, it's not our fault you can't keep a man faithful." Another girl laughed.

"He's not my husband." I put my phone away and sighed. "Did he say where he was going?"

They shook their heads and I sighed.

Great.

"I think.... Maybe... he was on the phone talking in German. I understood a bit. I think he said he was on vacation? Maybe he's staying at a nearby hotel?" A girl shrugged.

I smiled before thanking them and running off.

I think I know what hotel they're talking about.
