9:23 am,I'm getting woken up by a delicious smell that makes me instantly hungry,i slowly get out of bed and into the hallway.
Erik: Leo where are you? i yell and i see the kitchen door open,Leo coming out of the door.
Leo: I'm cooking breakfast,bathroom is down the hall. He goes back in the kitchen and i go to the bathroom to get ready for the day.
In the kitchen.
Erik: mm,smells so good! I go and try to grab a plate but Leo stops me.
Leo: sit down,ill do it for you.
Erik: oh,alright! I sit down at the table while he sets it up for us to eat.
Erik: hey Leo,why were u in high school if youre already 18 years old?
Leo: i was picking up my sister. He says while puttin food on the plates.
Erik: oh..explains why you didnt have a backpack. I start eating and looking down from his gaze..avoiding him.
Leo: are you scared to make eye contact? youve never looked me straight in the eyes since the coffee incident. He takes a bite of his food.
Erik: uhm..no i.. Silence fills the room.
Leo: right.
We finish the food and i realize its monday,ive gotta go to high school.
Erik: oh my god im so late for my classes i have to leave right now! i say panicked trying to take my shoes on,i feel a hand on my waist..i freeze in place.
Leo: stop worrying,i called in and let them know youre not feeling well,its fine. You can rest at home. He says while grabbing my waist,pulling me back and then leaning to take my shoes off.
Erik: oh..um,okay..thank you, I stutter and after hes done with taking my shoes off i look up at him,making strong eye contact for the first time and i can feel my face turning red.
Leo: oh now you can look at me,huh?
I feel butterflies roaming around in my tummy..should i kiss him? is it too soon for such thing?..fuck it,ill do it.
I get up on my tippitoes..leaning for a kiss..Leo backs up.
Leo: easy there,kid,fell in love all over again? He laughs a bit and grabs the car keys.
oh my god im so embarrassed of myself,my body reacts before my mind and i run to the bedroom,hours pass by and i hear the garage door open..hes home,i go to the entrance and wait for him like a puppy,gosh did i really say that? sounds weird but its true.
Leo: hey there Erik,why were you in front of the door? He hands me a bag.
Erik: Hi! i heard the garage door open and close so i decided it'll be nice if i waited for you right here,oh..whats this? I look into the bag and its full of money.
Leo: my paycheck,nothing more. He takes his shoes off and goes into his bedroom.
What the hell,his paycheck? What does this man even work as,i place the bag down and start going towards his bedroom, right before i enter i remember what happened with Ethan that one time so i stop in place and i knock before entering.
Leo: you can come in.
I eneter the bedroom and right when i did that he took his shirt off which made me feel something in a second.
Erik: oh,should i leave? I say looking away from him.
Leo: no,whys that? have you never seen a guy shirtless before? He giggles to himself.
Erik: no..of course not. My gaze meets his and i feel a shock throughout my body and i go numb.
Leo: so youre telling me youve never been to a beach before or anything? He gives me a blank stare.
Erik: oh yeah,youre right..ive seen it before. I turn away and i go for the door to leave.
Leo: hey erik,wanna go out tonight? i heard theres this event in the nearby park and i think you'll love it,what do u think?
I stop and face him.
Erik: us?.. My face turns red.
Leo: yeah,us. He looks at me.
Erik: i..would love to. All i could think of is that we're going together..just me and him,maybe ill try to kiss him again..what? gosh stop thinking ab such thing,its too soon for this to be happening.
Day goes on as usual, cooking,talking and just spending time together,by 9:30 pm i ask:
Erik: whens the event going to start?
Leo: at 10:30 pm,if you want to you can go get ready by now.
He was watching tv in the living room and i was right in the doorway,facing him.
Erik: oh,okay ill go get ready! I run to the bathroom to take a quick shower and i prepare myself for this event..i cant wait to have fun after so many years of just working and studying,its gonna be so nice..especially since we're going together.
  Once we get there he tells me:
Leo: wanna go eat first and they play the games around here, Erik?
Erik: uhh sure yeah! I give him a big smile and he starts laughing.
We walk around and he spots a restaurant.
Leo: lets go there,they've got really good food,cmon. He grabs my hand and leads me to the door,holding it for me as i enter. Everyone was in fancy clothes,even Leo and i was in a baggy sports fit..it felt so weird,like every single person judged me by the way i dress. We sit down at a table and the waiter comes right away.
Waiter: what would you like to order?
Leo looks at me waiting for me to speak.
Erik: um.. I pause for a moment nd look at the menu.
Leo: Almas caviar and kobe beef,for both of us. He puts a card on the table. Check it on this card.
Waiter: will do sir,anything to drink?
Leo: a glass of red wine and..
He looks at me for a moment.
Leo: make it two. Thanks.
Red wine? ive never drank alcohol but i guess some wine wont hurt..
The waiter comes with our order and we eat it while discussing more about my life and my parents.
Leo: did you enjoy the food? He lifts the glass of wine nd drinks out of it.
Erik: yeah..i loved it! so fancy..isnt this expensive?..Ill repay you. I look at him as he sips out of the glass.
Leo: no need for that,its my treat.
I hesitantly look at my glass of wine.
Leo: you dont like red wine?
Erik: i do. I grab the glass with a bit of shakey hand.
Leo: if you dont wanna drink it then put it down,you're not impressing me even if you do. He takes another sip.
How does he know that i do wanna make him think im 'cool'.. I take a sip and he smiles at me.
Leo: like it? Glancing at me.
Erik: ..uhm..yeah,its good..i guess. I look down.
We leave afterwards and we go around playing games,in the many crowds of people i spot someone..Ethan.
Erik: hey..Leo,can we please leave? I grab onto his arm pulling him back.
Leo: why? we're having so much fun,lets play that game! he points to it.
Erik: my..roommate is here,lets just leave please. Right when i say that he spots us and i freak out,trying to pull Leo out of the crowds of people. Ethan approaches us and i feel how my heart drops into my stomach.
Ethan: woow cant fucking believe you,you leave without a trace and then i find you here with this motherfucker? He gives me a sharp stare.
Leo: as if you didnt do this yourself.
Ethan: shut it,prick,im talking to him.
Leo: prick? youre a fucking weirdo,why would you even ruin your friendship with him just because he made another friend? how insecure do you have to be to do such thing? He audibly laughs while Ethans eyes start to darken and i can see a furious expression appear on his face.
Ethan: so youre friends with this jerk now,huh? He grabs my arm forcefully as a reaction to his anger.
Leo: what do you even think youre doing? He pushes him away from me,Ethan swinging to hit Leo but he dodges the hit.
Ethan: YOU'RE FUCKED! he yells trying to go in for another punch.
Leo immobilizes him in a matter of seconds,tossing him to the ground and hitting him till he yells for him to stop,so he does. Leo grabs my hand and leads me out of the crowds of people right back to his car,putting my seat belt on and speeding of into a random parking lot.
Leo: what a fucking loser,who does he think he is to grab you like that,if he knows he cant even fucking fight back why the hell would he try to swing on me? Gosh,where did u even find such bastard. He looks at me and i can see hes filled with anger.
Erik: im sorry..im genuinely sorry.. I start to sob and i cover my face with my hands,looking away from him.
Leo: no,dont cry,im not mad at you. Im mad at him cus he thinks hes so fucking superior to everyone. He grabs my chin,making me face him and wipes my tears away with a sweet stare on his face.. He cares about me.
We get home and settle down,in his bedroom im at the side of the bed while he roams around the room looking for something.
Erik: what are you looking for?
Leo: a contract i need to bring to work tomorrow.
Erik: if you dont mind me asking..what do u work as?..
Leo: Im a fighter. He stops and looks at me. Why?
Erik: because you make a lot of money..i was just curious thats all.
He looks around more and makes a mess on the floor..a thing pops up in my brain,he said we're friends while arguing with Ethan,did he mean that?..
Erik: soo..we're friends now? I look down because i know hes going to stare at me and it'll make me unable to speak.
Leo: no,we're not. I said it so i can make him mad. He finds the papers and starts cleaning up the mess he js made.
Erik: oh..um.. I start to tear up and as soon as i feel a tear go down my face,i get up and leave the room running to the bathroom,slamming the door behind me.
I lock myself in the bathroom and i sit down on the cold floor letting the tears go down my face continuously.
Leo: Erik whats wrong with you? open the door. I hear him say that from the other side of the door.
Erik: just leave me alone! i yell crying.
Leo: ive got a spare key and im going to open the door anyway,dont run away again just talk with me. I hear the door opening and i get up faster than he could get in so he wont see me on the floor.
Leo: look at me. He grabs my chin,lifting my head up. Whats wrong with you,why are you crying all of a sudden? Giving me a confused look.
Erik: you..said we're not friends why would you say something like that while you let me stay at your place! how couldn't we be friends after that? I let out even more tears trying to escape from his grip so my eyes wont have to meet his.
Leo: dont resist me. He grips on my chin tighter and now i cant move a muscle. We are friends. Now stop crying.
My face lightens up and i go in for a hug,i squeeze him as tight as possible but i dont feel him hugging me back,at this point i dont care if this is embarrassing,i just needed a hug so bad..from him. He laughs a bit.
Leo: its time for you to sleep now. It's almost 1 am and youve got hight school tomorrow.
Erik: alright.. I go in the bedroom and get in my bed,he turns off the lights nd shuts the door behind him leaving me in a pitch black room..even if im 16 im kinda scared of the dark,funny,isnt it? a soon to be adult is scared of the dark..whatever. I get out of bed and i trip over something on the floor,i finally find the light and i turn it on..i leave the room going towards his bedroom. Should i knock first?..maybe hes changing in pjs..I knock on the door.
Erik: can i come in please?
Leo: Yes, go ahead. I enter his bedroom. What is it that u need ?
Erik: im very scared of the dark.. A laugh is let out and he tries to hold it in while i get shy now that he finds it hilarious. Maybe i can..sleep h-
Leo: sleep with the light on or turn the tv on,if not,theres a lamp in the guest bedroom, you can sleep there with it on. Goodnight now. He turns to the side,facing the other way.
Erik: can..can i sleep in here? I immediately look down,gosh how could i even say that.
Leo: what? sleep in my room? yeah okay ill go sleep in another room. He starts to get up but i interrupt him.
Erik: no..i.. i wanna sleep with you. I cover my face as fast as possible.
Leo: with me? He laughs to himself. Kid,did that wine get to your head now? you cant sleep with me. He looks at me in disbelief of what i just said. I start tearing up like a 5 year old and i whine quietly. Leo pauses for a moment:
Leo: fine but never ask for such thing again. He lifts up the blanket on the bed and moves to the side,making room for me.
Erik: THANK YOU! i yell.
Leo: be quiet.
I lay down..next to him..oh my god,im gonna sleep next to him..im so panicked whats going on.
Couple hours pass by and hes in a deep sleep yet i couldn't even close my eyes since i layed down. Should i hug him?..im so..tempted to do that..no i wont whats up w me. A couple of minutes pass by and his phone starts ringing,he doesnt wake up but my curiosity does. Whos calling him at such late hour..let me check..his phone was on the other side of the bed and i didnt wanna get out of it,it might wake him up,i get up and try to lean over Leo to grab his phone..that doesnt work so i slowly get on top of him,not with my whole body or weight,just so i can reach the phone. I feel Leo move and wake up. I was now on top of him,with my whole body and weight. Oh my fucking god,im screwed.
Leo: what..what are you doing? He looks at me.
Erik: i..can explain just..
Leo: ..what are you doing on top of me? He grabs my waist and lifts me up gently,laying me down next to him. Kid,whats up w you tonight?
Erik: your..phone was..i..no. I cover my face and turn my back. He laughs and we end up sleeping..
