"School cancelled because of the rain!", Kijae smiles as he rushes down the stairs and throwing himself onto the sofa, laughing at Heejae and I, "while I get to stay home and do whatever, you guys have to still go to college! Imagine that!", he claps.

Heejae and I exchange looks as we continue to get ourselves ready.
It was raining pretty heavily so Kijae's school decided to close down for today since there could be a risk of the school flooding. The building is pretty old either way, so it's better to have precautions like that.

My phone then goes off once. I take a look at the screen and see it was a message from Seungmin.

"I just left my house. Want me to come by and bring you to college? I don't want you coming in all wet and getting sick.", he asked. I smile to myself as I pick my phone up from the dining table to text him back. On the other hand, Heejae was giving me a sneaky smile.

"Who texted you? Bachelor uno or bachelor dos?", she jokes. I click my tongue as I push her away from me.
"It's just Seungmin asking if I want to go to college with him because of the rain."

"Can he please bring me as well?!", she whines as she grabs onto my arm, then going on about why she should also tag along.

I did have my drivers license at one point, but I did crash my own car into a lamppost one night.
In my defense, the break was not working. It was stuck. Yet when the police had come along it was working just fine. Ever since then I've avoided driving until I can fully trust it. My mom is fully understanding of my choice and said that when I'm ready she'll help buy me a new car by paying a certain percentage of it, depending on the price.

"I'll ask him.", I groan as I brush Heejae off my arm, texting Seungmin.
"Heejae's asking if she can come along. Is that alright with you? If not I'm more than happy to leave her."

Since he was probably driving, I figured he wouldn't respond fast like he usually does, but he found a way to prove me wrong.

Instead of a text, he had sent me a video of himself driving in the car. I smile a bit as I press the play button.

The video was basically just him driving while smiling and giving a thumbs up to the camera, him then ending the video.

I let out a small laugh as I put my phone back down on the dining table.
"He says you can come along but you better not be weird around him," I say while looking at Heejae, "say one wrong thing and I'm throwing you out the window."
