Although the party was fun, I was mostly distracted by the absence of Seungmin. I always expected that we would be having fun together but instead he had left me in the dust.
Instead of distracting myself with the drinks, I decided to just start drinking some juice and water since it was nearing the end of the party.
Some people had began to leave but some others remained to finish off their drinks and to dance a bit more.
The whole group was still here thought since we were planning on staying over at Seungmin's now since we're all a bit tipsy and his house is the closest to the party hall.
I stopped in the random tracks of thought as I see Eunmin come over to me.
"Hey," she smiles as she takes a seat beside me, "talked to the owners of the place and they said we can come here tomorrow to clean up," she mutters, her cheeks a bit rosey.
I nod my head as I offer her my bottle of water, she takes with furrowed eyebrows.
"Something wrong? You've been down for a while," she asks as she takes a sip of my water to try and sober her down.
I let out a small sigh as I look at her, "I think Seungmin met someone else here," I frown, "he's just been on the rooftop the whole time.."
Eunmin's eyes then widen as he points to the rooftop door, "I will fight that man if I need too," she says, "Want me to go square him up?"
I laugh as I shake my head, pushing her hand down, "God, you're drunk," I laugh as I pat her back.
"But thanks for letting me know you'd do that for me."
"You're my best friend, of course I'd beat up a man for you."
Jiseok then comes up to us with a smile, "The party was really fun, guys," he says as he pulls over a seat near us, "I'm speaking for the others who are.. drunk dancing on the dance floor right now, that we're really glad we made this friend group last year. It's one of the best things that happened to us."
"And who made you such a sweetheart?" Eunmin laughs as she gives Jiseok a playful push on the shoulder, "to be honest, if you didn't fall into Minjae here that day, it would still just be us and Eunwoo in a classroom together doing nothing but eat, study or talk about random shit."
I then look at Jiseok with a happy look, "Jiseok, I thank you so much for saving me from these two.", I joke as I then gain an arm slap from Eunmin, letting out a laugh upon the content.
