Hello my peeps! Before reading this chapter, you should watch a movie called "Inside Man." I think It's on Crave and Prime video. I'm basing this chapter on it. Plus, it's a really good movie! Enjoy!

The next morning, you and Winter got out of bed and instantly started working on a new plan. You were going to try to kill another one of the Avengers before going back to Tony Stark. His Tower, especially his floor, would be crawling with agents by now. You didn't want to risk messing up the whole plan by not knowing how many people there will be.

"We should go for the Romonoff girl next," Winter told you.

"But she will be worried that someone will come after her," you replied.

"Then who should we go after?" This question stumped you. You didn't know who. You thought maybe Hawkeye, but then again he wasn't that big of a threat. Possibly the hulk? We would want to get him out of the way, but right now he's not very stable. Thor wasn't even on this planet right now, so it wouldn't be him.

"Captain America." You say confidently.

"Why him?" Winter asks.

"Well, he's the leader of the Avengers so we need to get him out soon. He also would do anything to stop us since he loves his team. The others would probably just run." He looked at you thoughtfully, his stormy eyes still having that glazed-over look.

"That sounds good. Now, how will we do it?"

TIME SKIP

You and Winter were standing outside of the door of Stark Tower. That's right STARK TOWER.

You and him decided that it would be smart to make another attempt at the "heroes"lives as soon as possible, because they would not be expecting it so soon after. Plus, the reinforcements might not all be there yet.

"Are you ready Troop?" Winter asked, looking at you.

"Always." You start walking in, Winter following close behind. You were acting as painters so you could get into the more reserved parts of the tower. It was a very simple but effective plan.

Winter walked ahead while you look at your surroundings. There were many guards, and lots of people around. Most of them were reporters and doctors, probably because of last night. The soldier was talking to the lady at the front desk, most likely telling her that you two were painters.

"I'm sorry, but the upper floors are on lock down. I can't let you in," the woman said dismissively. Winter glanced around, making sure that no one was looking before pulling a gun out of his jacket and holding it to her stomach. He was leaning on the desk to make it look like he was looking at something on her computer. You couldn't help but admire this man's genius.

"You will make everyone in this building leave before you bring us to one of the restricted floors. If you disobey, I will kill you on the spot. Do you understand?" Winter's mouth was very close to the woman's ear as he whispered this. Her face turned ghostly white before she nodded. "Good."

He pulled her up by her arm, leading her to the microphone. "W-we are c-closing f-for the day. I a-a-ask that everyo-one leaves in the next f-five m-m-minutes," the woman stammered.

Winter looked at you, nodding his head. You start to walk towards the elevator while the people in the building start to leave. You hear a dinging that came from the woman's pocket that sounded like a phone.

You slowly started to walk back over to her, reaching into her pocket to feel cold metal. You pulled out a grey Iphone. You tried to open it but there was a password.

"Open it." You handed the phone to the woman who quickly unlocked it and gave it back to me. You opened text messages and saw that someone named "Boss" had texted her.

Boss

Why is everyone leaving? I was just about to come down and talk to them

You quickly texted them back, saying:

You

I'm sorry. There was a slight problem and they all needed to leave. I told them that they could come back later though!

You put the phone in your pocket, thinking that you wouldn't hear from them again. Soon though, a dinging sound came from your side. You pulled out the phone and unlocked it using the same password the woman used before. It was "Boss" again. Getting annoyed, you read the text.

Boss

What kind of problem is so bad that they all need to leave?

You

There was a problem with the lights. One of them burst. Don't worry though, I have already called a mechanic to fix it and make sure that the others will be okay too.

Boss

Who are you?

You froze. He couldn't know that this wasn't the woman, could he? Acting like you thought this was a joke, you texted him back.

You

I'm sorry? I don't know what you mean.

Boss

If something happened to anything in the building, then F.R.I.D.A.Y. would tell me. Hannah knows not to call mechanics unless I tell her to. Plus I'm watching the live security camera footage and that's not Hannah with the phone.

So I ask again, Who are you?

"Dammit." You say. You smash the phone on your knee, before looking straight at security camera and giving it the finger.

"What is happening?" Winter asked.

"We have two choices, and we have to pick quickly. We can run and escape unscathed but have HYDRA on our asses for failing again, or we can carry out the mission and most likely get caught but HYDRA won't be as upset with us as they would be with the former." Winter just started at you for a second before answering.

"Number two."

"Are you sure? We might get caught. They know that we're here." You said, unsure of what to do.

"Well then we'll at least be able to tell HYDRA that we tried. Plus, I know that I'm not going to cave under torture. Run if you want but I'm staying." You nod, moving towards the stairs.

"Let's get this son of a bitch."
