So! I know that I haven't posted in over 3 months, and I apologize. I've made a different account on wattpad, and I've mostly been using that. I'm sorry! But I'm here now, so you're welcome. Enjoy!

You and Winter checked into a motel after the failed mission. He refused to talk to you, probably because he thinks that it was your fault.

He found your room, and Winter opened the door. It was a small dingy place with only one room. The dim light barley illuminated the room, giving it a creepy feeling. A small cot was shoved into one corner, a filthy window with a view of the building beside this one was in the middle of the back wall. The ugly faded wallpaper was peeling in some places.

"Well this place looks like shit," you said. You didn't mean too, but it just slipped out. Winter just looked at you before he walked into the room. You sighed before following him. You set your duffel bag down on the floor, laying your sniper on top. Winter was looking at the window, staring at the bricks of the other window. You slowly walk over to him, trying to figure out what he's looking at.

"What are you doing?" You ask. He just stays silent and unblinking. Finally, he speaks.

"I don't remember anything from before HYDRA." He said, still staring out of the dirty window. You don't know what to say. You don't remember anything before the Red Room, but you haven't ever really thought about it.

"Well HYDRA doesn't want you to remember it for a reason then." You reply.

"Doesn't want me too? What do you mean?" He asked, finally looking at you. His dull eyes held a faint blue color that swirled around the black of his pupils.

"Well, haven't you ever heard the screams coming from that locked room on the eighth floor?" You say.

"I guess, but isn't that just another torture chamber?"

"Do you remember ever going into that room?" He shook his head, a glint of confusion flickering in his steel eyes. "Well when I was four, you brought me to HYDRA. I stayed a night there because it was blizzarding and too dangerous to fly to Germany. I watched you go into the room, but when you came back out, you looked different. You didn't remember me, when just a few minutes before you were asking me about my favorite movies to calm me down. They wouldn't tell me what happened to you though." You looked away, breaking eye contact.

"I brought you to HYDRA?" Winter whispered. You nodded.

"It's getting late. We should go to bed. I'll stay on watch," you said as you turned away. You didn't want things to escalate more than it already had. You didn't want Winter asking about things that you don't remember. You didn't want to think about things that you don't want to remember.

I'm sorry that this was short! I just wanted to get something else out there! I'm sorry again! I'll try to post more often!
