Third Person POV
==========================================================
Steve Rogers sat at the bar alone. Natasha watched from the other end of the room, a pitiful expression on her face. She didn't like seeing her friend like this. Even if he does feel this way for a reason that she does not agree with.
She walks over to Steve, taking a seat on the stool beside him. She orders a vodka cranberry from the bartender, and once she has her drink she turns to Steve.
"I know that you're sad about what happened, but it's been three months. You have to get back into the field." She tells him. He shakes his head before answering.
"I can't, Nat. They are all that I can think about. I finally had my best friend back. Then he left. And I met the most amazing woman. Now she's also gone. And I know that I will never get them back, but can't I hope a little bit?" Natasha listens to him speak before talking her self.
"But she left you. You don't want to get hung up on a girl that would leave you for your best friend in a heartbeat. Plus, you knew her for like, two days."
"Three days and five hours."
"See? This is what I mean. It's weird man. I think you should just move on. Come back to work, put some bad guys away, stop drinking when you can't even get drunk, and forget about her." The woman tells her friend.
"I could never forget her." He growled back.
"I'm just saying." She says.
"Well I don't need or want you too." Natasha nods, downint the rest of her drink then stands up.
"I expect to see you on Monday." She grabs her coat and walks out of the bar, leaving her friend alone with his thoughts.

Small Time Skip
==========================================================
Steve left a little while after Natasha. He closed his tab, tipped the bartender, then left the building.
He walked down the old streets of Brooklyn New York alone. He walked for half an hour to an old apartment building. He just stood outside, looking up at it. The place where he spent so much time with his best friend. The ally that he used to get beat up in before the Government pumped him full of chemicals. Before him and Bucky changed forever.
He made his way to the subway station that was going to take him back to Manhattan and to the Stark Tower.
He looked up at the moon. It reminded him of her. The way it was so much different from the rest of the stars. It was beautiful and unique. Just like she was.
He didn't know where she was. He didn't know that she was sitting on the rooftop right above him. He didn't know that she had been following him for the past two weeks to see how he was doing. He didn't know that she was leaving New York for good the next day. He didn't know how much she missed him. But what he did know, was that somewhere, somehow, she heard him whisper those six simple but meaningful words.
"Troop, you will never be forgotten."
