"So goodbye ordinaryish people
We had quite the run, didn't we, though
But you gotta be somebody sometime
I don't wanna pack up and leave though" ~Ordinaryish People By AJR

My shift ended about an hour ago. As soon as I had gotten home, I had called a household meeting.

Me, Sparks, and Johnny are all gathered in the living room. Sparks, and Johnny seated on the old grey tattered couch; my nerves preventing me from sitting still for long, causing me to pace back, and forth at one end of the obsidian coffee table.

"So are ya gonna actually say why ya called us here?" Johnny started, breaking the silence.

"Yeah, I'd like to know as well." Sparks chipped in next. "especially since every bit of you just reeks of, 'doom, and gloom'."

"So... I have some... old debt, to pay." I started, lacing my talents together in front of me.

"What?" Johnny rumbled menacingly.

I turned wings flaring, holding out my talons, palms up, in a placating jester.

"OK, it's nothing bad." I say, before either of those two can get any ideas in their minds.

"Just get to the chase already." Sparks chimed in impatiently. "what do you Gotta do exactly... kill someone? Because last time I checked, that's literally your job."
"Sparks, with the way ya talk, it's a wonder ya ain't dead yet." Johnny remarked.

"Technically I'm already dead." Sparks shot back. "Ah da da da da! Let's get back on track." Sparks exclaimed, they waved their arms and wings, one accidentally hitting Johnny in the face.

"OK OK." I start, as I tucked my wings under my arms. "I have to move out tempor-..."

"WHAT!?" Sparks exclaims, effectively cutting me off; Johnny covers their beak, to keep him from talking.

"You where sayin'." Johnny prompts.

"I will have to move out TEMPORARILY, and I will be gone for an indefinite amount of time." I informed, finally getting to the point of the meeting.

"How long?" Johnny inquires, before withdrawing his hand from Sparks' beak. "WHY DID YA LICK ME!!!" Johnny exclaims, wiping his hand off frantically.

"indefinitely." I answer, trying to hold back my laugh.

"Why?" Sparks inquires exasperatedly.

"I owed a favor to someone, and he cashed in the favor earlier today." I answer. "I need to leave tomorrow, I'll keep you all updated."

I turn, and make my way upstairs to my room, ready for today to be over.
