Ch 1:- Shaadi ka Ghar

Place:- Delhi, India

"Sab packing hogayi?" (All packing done?) The older woman asked as the woman sitting on the bed nodded while closing the bag, "Sab le Liya, shaadi ka joda, gahane, sab pack hogaya" (I took everything, Bridal dress, Jewelry, Everything is packed) The woman smiled as the older woman smiled and sat beside her on the bec

"Kitne saalo ke baad, humaare ghar mein ek shaadi ho rahi hai na, Jaya" (After so many years, there is a wedding in our house, right Jaya?) Jaya smiled and nodded as she looked at the photos on her bedside table and smiled, "Humaari Neha itni jaldi badi hogayi ma"  (Our Neha grew up so fast ma) The older woman smiled and nodded but then the door burst open revealing 2 beautiful ladies who were smiling but then they looked at the 2 woman sitting on the bed.

"Arre Dadi, Maa, aap dono yaha par kya baate kar rahe ho??" (Granny, Maa, what are you both talking here?) One girl frowned as the other giggles before speaking, "I bet they were gossiping without us, Neha" Jaya chuckled as she signaled the 2 girls to sit with her on the bed.

The two joined the elders happily as Jaya, Neha's mother spoke, "Kuch gossip nahi chal rahi, We were just talking about how Neha grew up so fast" (No gossip is going on, we were just talking about how Nehav grew up so fast) Neha smiled as she looked at her granny who cupped her cheeks before pecking her own fingers (typical Indian grandparents T_T) as an act showing of love and adoration.

Neha smiled and looked at the other girl before looking at her mother who spoke, "Aaliya, Jiju nahi aarahe?" (Alia, Brother in law is coming?)  Aaliya smiled, "Aa rahe hai, par Yash nahi aa payega. Uske exams shuru hone waale hai" (Yes he will, just Yash won't come, his exams have started)  Jaya sighed and nodded, feeling bad that the whole family won't be there at the wedding.

"But don't worry, mera ek friend South Korea se aa rahe hai" (But don't worry, My friend from South Korea is coming too) The 3 woman looked at her with a frown. Neha then spoke, "Who, Jungkook??" Aaliya nodded and smiled. Neha chuckled, "That's good, the more the guests, the merrier, Plus its been years since we met him"

Aaliya nodded and smiled. Jaya then chuckled, "It's good that your friend is coming.. Arre ha, Neha, teri dost?" (It's good that your friend is coming... Ohh yes, Neha, your friend?) Neha looked at her mom and nodded, "She will come directly there, usse kuch kaam aa gaya toh she will take her time" (She will come directly there, she got some work to do so she will take her time) "Usse jaldi aane bolna, I can't handle everything all alone" (Tell her to come fast, I can't handle everything all alone" Aaliya rolled her eyes as Neha and Jaya chuckled. 

The Granny, whose name is Yamini, smiled watching the scene in front of her. This was her beautiful family, and now, it was time to give away one of her beautiful angels to her man. Thinking of it, her eyes got teary as she looked down and wiped her tears. Neha, noticing it, quickly back hugged her as she smiled, "Dadi... Ro kyu rahi ho?" (Granny, why are you crying?)

Yamini smiled and shook her head as no, "Tujhe bachpan se dekhte aa rahi hu. Meri choti si Lado, abhi itni badi ho gayi hai.." (I have seen you since childhood. My little sweetheart has grown so much) Jaya smiled softly at the words as she looked at her mom in law, "Ma, Agar aap hi aise ho, toh Mera aur Neha ke papa ka kya hoga??" (Ma, if you act like this, what will happen to me and Neha's dad?) She spoke softly as Yamini nodded and smiled. Aaliya chuckled and smiled before she spoke,

"Abhi rona dhona band Karo aur chalo!! Jaipur intezaar kar raha hai!!" (Now stop all this crying and let's go!! Jaipur is waiting for us)
