Mason's POV:

"Mages?!, what the hell are they doing here? and teaming up with rouges at that?" My dad paced around the room

"This is bad..this is really bad.." Katherine muttered, "his blood,they want his blood" Liam sighed

We all looked at Liam,"his blood is special,I read it somewhere when I stayed with the witches that just a drop of blood from a  Crescent wolf is so powerful,it can heal external bruises"

"He's been missing for nearly 3 days now,we really need to hurry,they could be draining him dry right now" I panicked

"A witch... only with the help of a witch can we find Korey" Liam sighed

"I thought vampires hate witches?" I asked, Liam flinched,"yes,yes we do,but I've been associated with witches since I was young, but forget that, we'll meet them tomorrow"

"What if-" I started but everyone just gave me a glare and I sighed,"fine but if I find out something happened to Korey just because we wasted a day I'm fucking everyone up" I mumbled as I stormed out of the room

I didn't reach far when I dropped to my knee's,my head thumping in pain,it was agonizing,my entire body felt like it was being electrocuted

"Mason?? Mason" I heard faint voices calling after me but the pain made it hard to breathe and my vision became a blur

"MASON!" I heard Korey's voice just before everything went blank

"Korey Korey??" I called out in the dark place,my head snapped to the direction of whimpering

Korey was in a corner covered in bruises and dirt,he looked damaged,I ran to him but once again it was as though every step I took he went further

"H-help..Mason,help me" he cried finally looking up at me his cries echoed through this dark hollow place

"Where are you Korey" I tried to ask quickly he opened his mouth to say something but my ear's began to ring and the place shook violently

Korey screamed at me but the ringing was louder,I tried my best to listen to what he was saying but again,I felt that excruciating pain before I blacked out

"Basement,woods" were the only words that reached my ear

I sprung up in a panic dripping with cold sweat,"Thank God,what happened boy?" I heard my dad's voice before he rushed over to me examining my face

"Basement,woods" I repeated immediately as though if I didn't say the words right then and there I would forget it

"What?" He asked and I grabbed him," basement, woods that's all he said" I semi yelled as I felt tears threatening to fall from my eyes

If it wasn't for the eyes of everyone else on me I would've broken down right then and there

"Guess it can't be postponed at all,we really need to find Korey,did you see him?" Liam asked

"He was crying,he- he was bleeding.." was all the left my mouth

I tried to get up but if it wasn't for my dad holding me I would've fallen right back down

"THAT JACKSON FELLOW" I screamed remembering the first time I blacked out and saw Korey

Everyone looked at me like I grew a head,"I remember now,the first time I saw him he was chained up and men in coats surrounded him and his ex, he was there!!" I screamed in one go

Katherine darted out the door and Mya and Ryan quickly followed after her, Liam,Zane and my dad staying back with me

"You need to res-" my dad tried but I snatched out of his grip,"I can't rest!, Korey is there fight for his life and you want me to fucking rest?" I screamed but immediately went quiet and held my head,I was getting a slight headache

"I know but you can't do anything with the state you're in now,so just rest,we won't leave without you Mason" my dad reassured and I sighed

"Please,find him" I muttered and lay on the soft fur turning my back to them as I felt helpless and useless

My dad sighed and once I heard them leave I broke down,I allowed the tears to trickle down my face one after the other

{Korey}

"That was your last chance,if you do it again right now you'll kill him" Kiran warned

"I didn't mean to,I just wanted to see him before I d-" I started,"don't say things like that, you'll be out of here soon" Kiran tried to reassure but these people have blown out even light and hope I had

I just hummed in response, feeling numb to everything, as if on que the men in coats walked in the room,"hello my beautiful masterpiece" the one whose name I learned to be Cane spoke

As usual he examined my naked body,at first I was uncomfortable, ashamed and disgusted but after everything I've become a customed to this shit only feeling disgust towards my self

"How's your wolf Korey?" He asked and I continued to stare mindlessly into the light above

One of the men in the corner stepped towards me and attempted to hit me but I looked at him and snarled and he stepped back

Cane laughed at this interaction,"oh my goodness, you're finally coming in" he clapped and I looked at him boredly

"When I'm healed it is over for you Cane" I announced and he only smiled wider,"if it weren't for him you wouldn't reach your true power so spare me" he pretend to cry then laughed hysterically

"Just hang in there Korey" Kiran cooed and I just sighed,why did all this have to happen to me?

One minute I was a normal teenage boy happily going to school and living normal but no everything just had to change and go downhill when it was supposed to be the starting of my adulthood, partying and drinking and having fun but instead I'm here locked up in some basement being beaten, tortured and assaulted all for my blood and some stupid supernatural power I never wished for

All I feel now is disgust and anger,never have I ever thought to strongly kill someone but now it's the only thing on my mind lately

I rather be dead than feel what I'm feeling now..I don't even feel human anymore

Someone.. please save me..
