THE GIRL AND HER MOM weren't on speaking terms about the morning before. And maybe it was better. Even if Lucy wanted to speak to her mother, she didn't know what to say.

Everything seemed so complicated. Rafe wasn't speaking to anyone either. Sarah wasn't speaking with Topper because apparently he got into a massive fight with John B and it didn't end well.

The girl was just so exhausted. She woke with a massive headache. Going into the kitchen, she took pain killers.

It was six in the morning when she argued with her mother. They decided to sleep it off. Which the teen girl was thankful for.

It was eightAM when she decided to make herself some breakfast. She grabbed a pan and the carten of eggs. She cracked two eggs into a bowl before stirring them together with a fork.

The birds were chirping and everything was so peaceful. The girl poured the mixture of eggs into the pan, hearing it sizzle loudly. She poured a tiny bit of milk in it, planning to make scrambled eggs.

She stired them around slightly with the spatula before grabbing a cutting board and placing it on the counter top, along with a kitchen knife.

Lucy opened the fridge and placed the packet of strawberries beside the cutting board.

The strawberries were beginning to go bad and needed to be eaten so it was perfect. She put five strawberries onto the cutting board before grabbing her knife and cutting off the top and end before cutting it in half and sliding it off to the side before cutting the next strawberry.

When she was done cutting the fruit she finished cooking her eggs, placing them on a plate and put the strawberries on the side.

Lucy then brewed some coffee. She grabbed a cup and put carmel around the cup for a more fancy look before pouring the coffee into the cup.

She then grabbed the creamer and poured it into the drink, making it a light brown.

The satisfaction of the coffee made her taste buds melt as she sat down to eat her meal as her mother walked down the steps, yawning loudly.

"You're up early" Jessica spoke with a small smile.

"Oh, yeah. Sorry I didn't make you breakfast. I brewed coffee though" Lucy spoke with a small smile.

Jessica seemed relieved by the coffee as she immediately grabbed a mug and poured herself some as Lucy ate her eggs.

"Umm, I won't be around today. I'm still dealing with things with the divorce and the bills. You know, adult stuff" Jessica rambled as she smiled at the end with a nod.

Lucy licked her lips. She raised her head up at her mother. "Umm, are you sure your okay mom?" She asked with a small ounce of concern in her tone.

Jessica looked down slightly before meeting her daughters eyes. "Yep. Your mother is tough. She can handle a small divorce" Jessica talked about herself in third person with a smile, trying to convince herself she could do this rather than her daughter.

Jessica leaned down to kiss Lucy on the head. "I love you, sweetie"

"Love you too, mom" Lucy smiled as her mother left the house, leaving the home quiet.

Lucy ate her food in peace and did all the dishes including her own.

It was 10AM by the time she finished the dishes. Lucy went upstairs and got ready for the day.

She made her bed, did her hair, brushed and flossed, did her makeup, and got dressed.

It was about 12PM by the time she was done and decided to go on a walk to clear her mind.
