My POV: I woke up to the sun shining through the window and Chris was knocked out, I tried my best to get out of bed and not waking him up but as soon as I tried getting up he pulled back into the bed hugging my waist.
Chris: ( deep sleepy voice) Where you going ma?
Me: I was just gonna go downstairs to make some breakfast.
Chris: I wanna lay here a little longer before we get up.
Me: ( chuckles and lays back down) Alright sleepyhead, just a few more minutes and then we gotta get up.
( He rubbed my thighs and gave me a kiss on my neck. A few moments later we got out of bed and went downstairs, he sat down at the table)
Me: What do you wanna eat for breakfast? ( made some coffee)
Chris: Nothing too crazy because I gotta go to the gym in a couple hours.
Me: So a smoothie and toast?
Chris: Yeah. ( chuckles) How you feeling about what happened yesterday? Losing your mom and everything.
Me: ( starts making his smoothie) Chris I really don't wanna talk about it right now, I haven't forgotten about it since it's still recent news.
Chris: ( rubs my shoulders) I'm sorry for bringing it up I just wanted to make sure you were ok.
Me: Both of my parents are gone Chris, obviously I'm not ok.
Chris: You and the doctor seemed pretty close, how do you know him?
Me: ( sighs) Chris he's my uncle, he flew down from LA a few months ago, I just haven't seen him because I've been so busy.
Chris: Have you spoken to him since yesterday?
Me: I didn't know he was in town until I saw him yesterday, I think my mom had something to do with him showing up.
Chris: Well at least you have some family members left.
Me: Yeah I'm just thankful he was there when I needed him.
Chris: Do you wanna come to the gym with me to take your mind off things?
Me: ( gave him his smoothie) I'm actually gonna stay home today and do some cleaning.
Chris: Okay babe, if you need anything just call me ok?
Me: I will.
Chris: ( stood up and kissed my cheek) I love you.
Me: I love you too babe.
( He walked down to the basement to work out, while he was working out I turned on some music and started cleaning the house. While I was cleaning my phone went off)
Me: ( lowered the volume down and picked up the phone) Hello?
My Uncle: Hey baby girl, what you doing?
Me: Doing some light cleaning, everything ok?
My Uncle: I just wanted to check on you, I wanted to ask you something.
Me: What's up?
My Uncle: I was wondering how would you feel if you moved to LA with me and your aunt Cassie.
Me: What about my life here? I have Chris and my friends, I don't want to leave them behind.
My uncle: Shay I'm just trying to look out for you, do you really wanna be with Chris and your friends or do you think you should be with family that you still have?
Me: I just lost my mother and you asking me to move back to LA? Let a lone you're making me choose between my relationship, my friends and you and auntie? Are you kidding me?!
My Uncle: Again I was just thinking about what's best for you Shaynay, will you at least consider it before you say no?
Me: I'm gonna talk to you later. ( hung up and continued to clean the house)
A couple hours later....
( Chris came back from the gym and he didn't see me in the kitchen.)
Chris: Babe? Where are you?
Me: ( yells from upstairs) I'm upstairs babe.
Chris: Ight.
( He came upstairs and he saw me laying on the bed)

Me: I wasn't gonna, nothing my uncle says will make me change my mind. This is my home, with you and my friends.

( We kissed and then we laid in each others arms until we fell asleep)
