Chris's POV: So it's my baby's birthday and I'm excited to do something for her since she's been through a lot lately and I just wanna make her happy. I got out of bed quietly and looked over at her and smiled, I tried to walk out of the room without making a sound but I stubbed my toe on the door and she woke up rubbing her eyes.
Shaynay: Baby, are you ok? ( got out of bed)
Me: ( holding back the pain) Yeah, I'm good babe don't worry about me.
Shaynay: ( yawns) Are you sure?
Me: Yes my love I promise. Oh close your eyes.
Shaynay: ( giggles) Boy what do you got going on?
Me: Just close them.
Shaynay: Ok ok. ( closed her eyes smiling)
( I walked over to the closet and grabbed two boxes and put them in front of her)
Shaynay: Can I open my eyes now?
Me: Yes girl you can open your eyes now. ( chuckles)

Shaynay: ( opened her eyes and started to tear up) Aww baby, you remembered my birthday. ( ran up to him and jumped in his arms smiling) I love it baby thank you.
Me: ( hugging her) You're welcome baby girl I love you.

( I gave her a kiss and then I went in the bathroom and started getting dressed)
Shaynay: Where you going? ( took her hair down and brushed it)
Me: ( lies) I have a meeting to go to, I'll be back in a couple hours. ( sprays my cologne and fixed my hair)

Me: Chris you do realize it's my birthday today right? ( crossed my arms)
Chris: Of course babe, but I gotta go into work for a couple hours, I'll be back later and I'm all yours. Love you.( kissed my lips and ran downstairs with his keys)
