My POV: I woke up to feed Angel when Olivia came in the room.
Olivia: Hey girl you decent?
Me: Yeah I'm just feeding baby girl, what's up?
Olivia: You know Chris wants to take you to court for visitation rights.
Me: ( chuckles) Tell me you're joking? ( doesn't see her reaction change) Damn you're serious, well in my defense he shouldn't have slept with Lyla while I was pregnant with Angel, then none of this would've happened.
Olivia: Well are you going to give him visitation rights? I mean he did help you create Angel, but it's up to you.
Me: Liv if you were my friend you would be on my side and see how this would be a terrible idea. ( got up and put Angel in her crib and got dressed)
Olivia: Girl I am your friend, but I think you should at least compromise with Chris after all he is the father.
Me: Yes and he cheated on me while I was pregnant with our daughter, I really don't wanna talk about this anymore, I just want to get this over with.
At the court house....
Judge: Ladies and Gentlemen of the jury we are here today to deal with the custody of Angel Brown, Mrs. Brown would you like to start this off?
Me: You can just call me by my name please your honor, but I would like to deny Christopher Brown custody of our daughter due to circumstances of him having relations with his ex while I was pregnant with Angel, and until he proves to me that he wants to be apart of her life I don't wish him any visitation at this time. ( sits down)
Judge: Mr Brown do you have any words to say?
Chris: ( stood up) I do your honor, ( look at me) You really are gonna take away the one thing I've been waiting for since we've been together Shaynay? Yes I am aware of the mistakes I made but you shouldn't take away my only child from me, we worked so hard for this together and you take her away over one mistake?
Me: ( looked at the judge) May I cut in your honor?
Judge: Proceed.
Me: Chris you decided to sleep with Lyla during my pregnancy and you think you should have the reward to spend time with your daughter? No thank you, I will be taking care of her until you proven to me that you aren't messing with her anymore.
Judge: Well I believe we came to an agreement that Shaynay will be the one who will be in full custody of Angel Brown and Christoper Brown you have three months to prove loyalty to Ms.Shanay and if you fail to comply you lose rights to seeing your daughter permanently. Meeting adjourned. ( slammed down the gavel)
