LOVE INTO THE DARKNESS

Chapter 1

Abala sa pag-iimpake ng mga dadalhing gamit si Fleur para sa nalalapit na kaarawan ng isa sa matalik nilang kaibigan. Nuong isang buwan pa sila nagplano-plano tungkol sa mga kakailanganing dalhin para sa nalalapit nitong kaarawan. 

The birthday celebration will take place at a camping cabin near the old Barrio, which is located in the woods outside of the city. They were all excited and looking forward to attending, except Fleur, who had received sad and heartbreaking news from her husband, Stryker Rye Montealegre.

At kahit nuong ikinasal na sila ay nanatiling ganoon si Stryker. Wala itong reklamo o galit na ipinakita sakanya dahil sa kasal na naganap sa mga buhay nila. He remained a nonchalant and unexpressive kind of guy throughout their marriage. Despite their arranged marriage, Stryker never failed to be a responsible husband to her.

Her husband was not the sweet and caring man she had seen on television portraying married couples. Her husband is far from that, but despite the fact that he is not the loving and sweet partner that every woman craves, Stryker has always been a good husband, but he shows it in his own way. 

Stryker never raises his hand against her. Whenever they talked about something, he would always remain calm and let her speak first before expressing his opinions in a calm and rational way. He never forced her to do anything she disliked. 

When she gets furious at him for something, Stryker will give her space and then mend it when she calms down. He never raised his voice at her whenever she did something childish and quirky just to get his attention.

He always fulfills her needs and wants. He even bought her limited edition of luxurious items for her birthdays, valentine's day, and wedding anniversary. His last wedding anniversary gift to her was a Graff diamond bangle in rose gold bracelet. Stryker is not expressive in their relationship, but he makes up by giving her gifts.

Stryker is a man with few words, but he puts everything into action. He is the calmest guy she has ever seen.

Stryker never said that he loves her and he never said anything cruel during their five-year marriage, except when he suddenly brought up the annulment. 'Yun ang unang beses na nasaktan siya ni Stryker.

It was so sudden that Fleur couldn't even process it to this day. After five years of marriage, he suddenly brought that up. But somehow, Fleur already saw this coming because she had never felt the affection of her husband. Although he was a responsible husband, he never showed her love. In short, Stryker only sees her as one of his responsibilities that he needs to take care of.
