Chapter 14

Rhaena step out of the bathroom feeling refreshed and sleepy.

"Rhaena."

Rhaena scream in surprise. She turn around wide eyed. She pull her robe closer around her as she see that Daemon was angry.

"Come." She shake her head no. She slowly inch closer to her bedroom door. "Rhaena I'm giving you five seconds to get your fucking ass over here."

"You're angry."

Daemon stood up and remove his coat then unbutton his shirt. He's covered in tattoos and he know Rhaena like tattoos.

"What are you doing?"

He didn't answer her and keep stripping. He strip down to his boxers before turning to Rhaena.

"Now."

The coldness of his voice send shivers down her spine. She walk slowly towards him, her eyes train on the floor.

"You're so stubborn."

He pull her against him, his arms tight around her.

"I'm trying to keep you safe yet all you give me is a fucking headache."

She flinch at the harshness in his voice.

"I will never lay a hand on you Rhaena." He edge her towards the bed before softly laying her down.

"You're mad at me."

"Of course I'm mad at you. You don't go anywhere without bodyguards."

"I'm sorry."

"You're going to repeat the same things again baby. You'll stay home from now on."

"You can't do that!"

"I just fucking did."

She turn her head away from, not wanting him to see the tears in her eyes.

"You know this is for your own good right?"

"You just want someone to control."

A phone rang, interrupting the silence. Daemon get off the bed and get his phone.

Rhaena get up and run to the bathroom, locking herself in. She slide down the door and let the tears fall.

It's like she's back in her parents house again. Everyone want to control her.

"Baby. Open the door."

Rhaena remain seated. She heard Daemon sigh before footsteps moving away from the door.

Daemon pull his pants on and send a message to Levi and Elias. He look towards the bathroom door and shake his head.

He know he's being hard on her but it's for her own good.
