Chapter 33

Daemon lift Rhaena out of bed and left the room. He hasn't went back to sleep cause the effects of the pills didn't last long at all.

Felicity get him a heat pack that give Rhaena some relief but nothing last long.

They got to the hospital and they were immediately shown into a room. A doctor was with them within a minute.

"OK so what's seen to be the problem?" The doctor put her clipboard down.

"Period cramps,"Daemon said.

"OK I'll do a full check. Has her period started?"

"Yes."

The doctor did some routine checks before sighing.

"OK I found the problem. A dislodge IUD."

"What's that?" Rhaena look at Daemon.

"It's to keep you from getting pregnant."

"Baby?"

"I don't even know what that is. Can you get it out?"

"No problem."

Daemon look at her confused. She has no idea what a IUD is yet she has one.

"Can she get it without her knowledge?"he asked.

"Yes. Many parents bring their child in to get it once their menstruation cycle has started. It's legal but not common because it can cause side effects like this."

"So her parents could have done this."

Rhaena start crying.

"Yes. I'll do some test to make sure there's no complications for her to conceive. But we're going to have to do surgery to remove the scarred tissue so she can start healing properly."

"Do it. I don't care if she she can't get pregnant naturally. Just make sure she's out of harms way."

"We'll do our best." The doctor leave them alone.

"Why would they do this to me?"

"I don't know baby but you're going to be OK."

He kiss her head as whatever the doctor give her starting to take effect.

"I love you. You will be ok."

She smile weakly before her eyes close. He need to have a talk with her mother. What mother do something like this to her daughter? The stupid thing could have kill her.

Two nurses came in and Daemon step back so they can take her. He run his hand down his face. He is scared. Anything can happen.

When is everything going to get better?
