Tristan: You found a tesla coil?
Nico: I did. Here it is
(Nico gives Tristan the tesla coil)
Tristan: Excellent. I'll see to it that this reaches the scribes immediately. You've done good work, knight. Are you ready for your next assignment? We don't have time to spare
Nico: I'm ready
Tristan: Good. Based on the data you brought back from the relay station, we've identified where the enclave is basing their operation. It seems they have a second base at the air force base outside of DC
Nico: That must be where they keep getting those vertibirds. But if the brotherhood can somehow get ahold of the base, we'll have the air superiority we need in order to win this
Tristan: Exactly. But the only safe way to get there is through the presidential metro used by the government before the war. You're going to be on your own again for this one. The rest of the brotherhood will be providing a distraction so you can slip in undetected. Once you breach the presidential metro, and get to the air force base, look for the resupply crate. Inside, you'll find your new orders, and hopefully we can put a working tesla cannon into your hands
Nico: So THAT'S what you needed the coil for
(Nico journeys to the white house plaza and finds a manhole. He goes down into it and enters the presidential metro. It's relatively empty, so he runs like Usain Bolt through the tunnel. But then when he reaches the door that leads to his destination, an AI stops him)
Margot: Warning, due to a major security breach, this system is on code red alert status. Prepare for security check. Attempting to identify local access user... Identification failed. This access point is restricted only to authorized personnel. Identify yourself or be eradicated
(Some auto turrets power up)
(Nico looks at his pip boy and sees a code from the data he got from President Eden)
Nico: Override security parameters. Assign current user highest clearance. Access code L-K-7-T-2
Margot: Override accepted. Clearance assigned. How may I assist you today?
Nico: I need information on the amount of enclave forces at the air force base
Margot: I'm sorry. I have no record of "enclave" in my memory array
Nico: Must be a pre war system then...
(Nico continues running down the tunnel, and he sees a bunch of Mr. Gutsys and sentry bots being deployed. They all start fighting a bunch of feral ghouls)
Nico: Now I see what the computer meant by "security breach"
(The ghouls and robots start fighting, but the robots have the advantage. Nico doesn't have time to stop and fight so he keeps running down the tunnel)
(Nico keeps running, but he's starting to run out of breath)
Nico: Screw this. There's no way I'll get there fast enough on foot
(Nico backtracks a little bit until he finds a mostly intact train car. He finds the auxiliary power circuits in the main console, and he grabs the fuse from the generator for the lights in the tunnel. He puts the fuse into the train and crosses the wires to create a reaction)
(Nico flips the switch, and the train takes off like a bullet. He rides the train until it stops at the air force base. He finds a few enclave soldiers guarding the entrance, but he takes them all out with his plasma rifle. He then takes off his brotherhood power armor and puts on a suit of enclave power armor as a disguise)
