ADEOLA OLUWADAMILOLA

"Again?" Kosy asks immediately she sees my tear-filled eyes. I only nod as she leads me to her room.

Kosy is the only person that knows about what happened at my house. I didn't tell the rest members of my little group because Kosy is the closest to me as she was the only girl. My bestie since Ss1 when I first came to Springfield High...

Kosy's house is more of a home than actually a house. It's not the kind of home that was worth millions like mine that was choking and suffocating but the kind that's comfortable to even do chores in.

Her parents are rich and wealthy, not as rich as mine but rich enough to own 10 houses, 50 cars times 5 and still have more than enough to take care of all of them. There are into international business so they travel a lot but still creates very little time for their kids which they enjoy as a family.

Her parents aren't extravagant, but are very humble, smart, calculative and that is why they were rich even though they weren't as rich as my dad, they were still humble and nice but my dad was quite the opposite.

"That guy's a bastard, I swear" Kosy said.

Even though I am soaked in tears, Kosy's funny and bubbly attitude will never make me angry or sad for too long and that was one of the reasons I like coming here whenever something like this happens

"Dami, Clean your face abeg, he isn't worth it". She says." Let's talk about something else. Like the party you're going to tonight that Ella's hosting" She quips in and wiggles her brows at me.

Shit!

Emmanuella, A stinking rich girl in my class was hosting a birthday party tonight and it has been trending  on the class group page that it was going to be a lit party, opening the term with a party that I decided I wasn't going to. I never attended parties because I hated them but Kosy was the opposite.

The thing is, the group has been begging me to come which I strongly disagreed to because the party was going to be full, because Ella was a very bubbly, social, and hyper active girl who with her best friend, Asher, won the hearts of the entire SS2 set. And that meant that there were going to be a lot of people.

Including me that dosen't like interacting with people. They are one of the very few people in our set that I actually..

Liked?

But Kosy and the rest didn't let me breathe as they gave me reasons why a whole Adeola Oluwadamilola, the smartest, most respected girl in Ss2 in Springfield High at large should go for a lit party like this one. I told myself that today, I would lock myself up in my room with load of snacks and listen to music and sing along with my head phones refusing to come out for any reason but here I was, sitted on the bed of Kosy's room at 10am.

"I told you I'm can see the future". Kosy brags, bobbing her big head in my face, swaying her head with pride. I can't help it but laugh.

Since last week, Kosy wanted us to believe that she could see the future but we didn't and just yesterday, Kosy texted me that I would come to the party whether I liked it or not.
