Streets of Paris

Evening fell and the sky turned into dusk. While Jeongyeon can't take her eyes off the window, her reflection seems to have become one with the city lights. Hunger hadn't greeted her yet, nor the need to sleep and she was still as a statue watching the view from her room. Jimin had already fled back into his suite after their breakfast this morning, and she hadn't drunk from the wine he gave ever again. Even though she can empty it on the usual days.

She must be tired, or not in the mood to satisfy her drinking habit.

Jeongyeon might not be feeling it today.

After a pondering moment, her eyes flickered in certain recognition. It softened and she turned around and grabbed her purse from the sofa. She cocooned herself with a coat, and as if she was livened by an idea, Jeongyeon paid attention to herself through the mirror.

There won't be much going on after a couple of days, now that the opening introduction day was only held last night. She figured that while waiting for the next events, she might have the luxury to rest — to explore the city, visit places she never imagined to wander, or just simply... live — like what Seokjin had talked her through.

So, Jeongyeon stepped out the door, tagged along the hallway, and left the comfort of the hotel.

       "So, when's the wedding?"

The question echoed hollowly in his ears, but he let his gaze linger for a moment. He watched the small queue inside the café, people strolling the streets in their quiet worlds, the clear image of the Eiffel Tower in the background far from where they stood. So vivid. So nearby.

It must have been a perfect night with Mina, but he deemed it'd be better for her to rest after a day's work. And while he roams the streets of Paris, he'd mentally noted to bring her something worthwhile from his short visit.

Never did he expect to meet someone halfway.

Jimin saw Namjoon smile, eyes knotted curiously with anticipation and right there, his mind circled back to his question. Everybody seemed to be asking the same since the news of their engagement reached the surface. It might be because of Mina's reputation that gathered the attention of the people, or her skyrocketing popularity, or their electrifying appearance as a couple at yesterday's event. Powerful, eye-catching. Any among the three, but he trod carefully for an answer.
