RESTORED DYING LOVE!

Chapter 10. FALLING SMOOTHLY.

The rest of the drive I was quiet, she kept warning me about this and that , while I was quiet until we arrived  .

I get out of the car, standing there hoping to see Harper but she wasn't out .
" I don't ever wanna see you pass through that door , you are only supposed to be outside!"

She walks away towards the house , I stand there staring at nothing, my eyes roam around as I wonder if am doing the right thing , I need to go and talk to mo...

Suddenly my eyes capture Harper staring at me through the large open window , I guess she's on the third floor , she smiles waving at me .

My breath stops and all I could hear is my heart beating vigorously, I want to take my eyes from her because I might get caught but her smile is so captivating, why am I realising it just now ? Why is it now that am Just realising how much I miss her, how much I miss arguing with her for no reason  .

" what are you staring at up there !? " I hear her voice again , I look at her tensed and up there again only to realise that Harper has already closed the cartain and she's not there.

" uh nothing, just admiring your beautiful mansion. "
" That's the problem with poor creatures. " she says not caring what is coming out of her mouth.

" I know.. right?!" I say smirking.
" Shut your smelling mouth!"
" Right "
" so you have no business here today because Harper is not going to school nor anywhere else , come back tomorrow morning and if you come even one minute late .... "

" yes , thank you , you have a great day Ma'am ."
She snears swaying her big deformed butts going away . Am pretty sure she wonders why am still talking just confidently when I should be crawling on my knees when I see her.

I leave without hesitation, I haven't talked to my mom since yesterday night I know she's worried now that my phone is off .

"There you are!! What happened? look at you did you sleep well ? Did you even eat anything? Where did you sle..."

"Mom , hey calm down , seriously how am I supposed to answer all that ? Am fine , look at me.. totally fine . Well good news I've got my job back!"

" Hunnie I don't think it's a good idea to go back there, you can find something else to do , I've dealed with those kind of people in my life and I know it doesn't always end well . " she says sounding really worried.

"Worry less mom , am only doing that to better our future , I already told you my plans , once I get enough money which won't take long, I'll leave that place and we can start our own business, I'll be careful, trust me . "

" But..."
" There's no but , am hungry ...." I say dragging the words .

" well , breakfast is ready come have some."
I run following her but my phone starts ringing after putting it on .

Looking at the caller my breath stops again , why is she calling me now . I debate whether to receive it or not .

" Are you gonna pick that or you'll keep standing there staring at nothing "
I accidentally press receive due to my mom's sudden talk .

" Uh ... Theo ?" A soft voice that I've been unknowingly yearning to hear enters my ears . I walk faster going to my room and lock it .

I sit on the bed but I can't seem to stay still so I stand up , walking around. My heart is drumming for what reason? I don't know...

"Theo?"
" uh.. yes My lady." I finally master the courage to speak but I feel stupid for calling her that because it doesn't sound fun anymore .
" Dont call me that you idiot!" She chuckles softly as if she's so happy to hear from me .

" Don't call me that either ." I say trying to sound sane .

"Okay , sorry ." She chuckles again .

Goddamnit! Why does she keep chuckling for no reason, it's making me wanna see her smiling face right now , she sounds so soft different with how we were fighting those other days .

" So what does My lady call for?" I ask curiously wanting to know why she called .
" Why? Cant I just call you to talk?" She asks leaving me speechless but soon enough I find something to say.
" I didn't mean it like that but for some reason it's better we don't because you know how much your sweet mom hates me !"

" Dont worry about it, she wont know about it . "
" But it's not ..."
she cuts me . " I said she wont know , or maybe you just don't wanna talk to me ! If you only wanna talk to that girl from the library you can just say it as well. I mean, I see how happy you look when she calls you!"

" That's right." I answer knowing that she's gonna explode .

" fine!!"
I know she's gonna hung up so am so fast to react.
" No wait ! You know damn well that's not true , I dont even talk to her anymore. "
" Really?! " I hear her voice turn to a hopeful one.
" yep , I gotta go bye ."
" Where?"
" Breakfast, am really hungry." I hung up before she keeps talking. I've lied to her because even today I don't wanna be idle so am gonna hangout with chloe , to distract myself.  Don't get me wrong though, am not using her for distraction.
